If He Only Remembered

Chapter 23

It wasn't long until we got to a different mansion. This mansion was more lively and different, it was prettier in its own unique way. 

"You guys look good," Vanessa says, oh here we go again.

"Oh shush," I say and roll my eyes and she laughs.

"I know I'm cute but thanks for the validation," Luca says to Vanessa and honks for the gates to open. 

"Anyways, James might actually make an announcement today about our divorce at dinner. So don't be surprised I think Seth needs to know it's been a while any way's from the accident ." Vanessa says sadly.

Luca parks the car and we all sit in silence. There was obviously tension and nerves in the air. 

"We should go inside" Vanessa says and opens the car door. 

As we walk inside the music is blasting and as usual, several ladies wearing super short dresses dancing.

"Wait? I thought this was just a visit not a party why are there party people here?" I say confused

"Yeah I mean that's what Taylor and Seth said I guess there was a change in plans." Vanessa says. 

"Oh I see someone I know I'll be right back" Vanessa says and scatters to a woman with short hair. The waiter comes and hands Luca a glass of sparkling water.

"Do you want to go to the terrace, it's really pretty?" Luca says. I nod in agreement it would be awesome exploring the new house.  We walk towards the terrace but I feel someone pull on my hand from behind. I turn back and see Taylor and a smile comes on my face.

"Hello! Hello! new love birds or friends or...?" Taylor says and smiles.

"Friends! " I say cutting him off.

"Taylor quit trolling and go troll someone else" Luca says 

"Oh come on longtime no see, I missed you all so very much" Taylor says and hugs me.

"You won't believe it, Ana's actually here" Taylor said bitterly and breaks the hug, fist-pumping Luca.

"I'm so sorry Taylor I really am. Were you two really engaged?" I say brushing his suit off.

"Yeah it was so quick everything was moving in a blink of an eye to be honest. When your in love time doesn't matter it's how the person makes you feel that makes you move so fast and we were engaged." Taylor says 

"Is James her date or is it someone else this time?" Luca says. 

"Yeah,  of course, its James her new lover boy, toy, she's a leech on that guy. I saw them the other day coming out of some designer store. She of course was laughing and both of them were holding so many bags" Taylor said. I just nod of course she is.

"I can't believe she used me to get to James she just needed the title and the lifestyle was I not stable enough? She's literally a gold digger" Taylor said and I just pat Taylor on the back while Luca nods.

"She isn't worth your time anymore, Taylor," Luca says

" I know, did you all see the terrace yet?" Taylor says pointing to it.

"We were actually going there," Luca says and Taylor guides us to the place. It was beautiful, truly. It was the perfect height to see the whole city and dark enough to see the stars. 

"It's so beautiful," Luca says and I nod just starring it truly was remarkable like a movie. Dark blue skies with these diamond like stars shining.
