He had a family but lost them.
She had a family and like him lost them.
Two became friends as closest...

Guys! Look who just graduated high school! I feel accomplished yet sad cause I have to be an adult now and do college stuff.
But look at this picture. It was as close to what Hide looks like. I tried to draw it digitally but that just went so wrong so pencil and paper it was. AND, I CREATED AHIDE YUKIMURA PINTEREST BOARD. Naruto grumbled to himself as he walked out of the academy and away from everybody. Hide was body snatched by Shikamaru and Choji and any potential plans with Sakura were gone the second Sasuke left class with the pinkette herself following behind him.
He slumped just at the thought of the raven haired Uchiha. He got the attention Naruto oh so desperately wanted from Sakura and he wasn't even attentive to it.
His feet stopped in motion, the pupils in his blue eyes doubled in size when he caught sight of Sasuke eating his rice ball as he stared up ahead. The blonde boy followed his eyes' path to see his three favorite people: Hide, Shikamaru and Choji all sitting on the roof with Ino against a corner sulking.
Naruto smiled when from his spot, he could still hear the chorus of jingles that was Hide's laugh, loud yet pleasant to the ear.
A lightbulb was practically banging on top of Naruto's head when a realization came to mind about Sasuke- he was distracted, his guard was down.
With an evil grin, the blonde boy's mind had already fixated an idea that was sure enough to get Sakura's attention.

From up above, Hide wiped the small crumbs of rice that were left on the corners of Choji's mouth. The boy grumbled at the sticky saliva making contact with his skin.
"You know Hide sometimes you act like such a mom." Shikamaru teased lightly. He watched his friend continue to grumble but made no move to push the green haired girl away.
"What's wrong with being a mom, moms are cool." Hide crawled over towards the taller boy's side, doing the same thing she did towards Choji and began to wipe the small crumbs of rice from the corners of Shikamaru's mouth.
Choji snickered from behind the boy. The genius sighed but like the laughing friend also made no move to stop his friend's actions. It was Hide's place to be attentive and caring even to the smallest matters, like crumbs on the side of one's face.
"Alright if were in the same group you're going to have to follow my lead. That's the only way it'll work." Shikamaru had completely forgotten about the sulking blond behind them, she sat opposite from them, making sure there was a safe distance between the three friends and herself. The only contact she made was taking the rice ball Hide offered which she took with a nasty glare that Shikamaru had returned.
