The moon's illuminated white light peeked through the window to Hide's bedroom. The night was at a silence, nothing being heard but the harsh gasps of breath wanting to claw their way out of the young girl's lips.
Her body was coated in a thin layer of sweat. The covers she had over her body at the beginning of her sleep were now tossed to the bottoms of her feet. Her thin sleep shirt clung to her body twisting itself, stopping her arms from moving. Hide's eyes were closed but in sleep they crinkled as if they were trying to shut out the nightmare plaguing her. Hands either side of were digging their nails into the bedspread, twisting the fabric straight into her hands with sheer force that ripped where her nails came in contact with.
"I'll show you what speed really means."
"You really live up to the brightest kunoichi of your age."
"You're testing my patience!"
"He's...he's out there, my brother."
"Don't let your dreams die."
"Naruto, I love you."
"Wake up!"
Her body, as if it were touched by lightening jolted upward.
The breaths leaving her no longer were the harsh gasps of air but soft and even. The hair usually tied up to ponytail now let free of its bind sticking to her back and either side of her shoulder in an uncomfortable fashion. Fingers glided through the small pieces not soaked in sweat.
Green like Shinon.
Her feet moved so they dangled off the side of the bed, eyes watched them bump against the mattress.
She sure was tiny.
Her tiny feet pressed and felt the cooling, wooden flooring. Chakra induced eyes glowed through the darkness seeing everything in the moon lit room with exact detail. A small smirk crossed her lips.
This girl sure had a thing for books, almost every spot in her room was left untouched with piles of books. So much so that piles were pressed against the sides of her bedding.
One hand reached down to pick up the heavy feeling book. It looked top shaped, no mark or mistreatment was shown sides or cover.
'The story of the Ghost of the Uchiha.'
"Hashirama Senju." A thumb wiped over the name at the bottom of the book. If it weren't for the 100/100 vision the name might've been unseen. Almost like the author didn't want the attention on him but the man who held the title.
