▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂Time had felt slow as Hide sat in class awaiting for her turn to take the graduation exam. This morning she had been awaken to the happy sight of Naruto hovering above her face with one of the grandest smiles she had ever seen. His arms tried to wrap around her form but settled to half of her. Continuing to thank her for the paid meal she had gifted him.
Hide grinned at that. Her act of kindness did pay off after all.
Like usual she prepared to get ready with Shikamaru and Naruto being occupied with a game of Shogi. It wasn't more of a game but more of Shikamaru trying to explain how to play and Naruto not following along and settling for just watching Shikamaru playing against himself.
Hide watched her friends all enter the exam room before her with Naruto being the first, then Shikamaru, Choji and Kiba with Akamaru. Her mind went in a daze as she thought how they all did, Naruto specifically.
'Did he pass or would he have to redo everything he learned this year?' she wondered. The exam was the clone jutsu and not only was it one that Naruto had not practiced, the goal was to produce a minimum of two.
Her row was empty, Kiba has gone and Shikamaru was gone long before him. Hide barely managed to snap out of her thoughts to see the pink haired Sakura be called and exited the room.
She went back in her haze unaware of the presence that had taken a seat next to her. It wasn't till she felt eyes on her and heard groans of complains that she snapped out of it once more.
The seat next to her was occupied by none other than Sasuke Uchiha. He looked bored as usual, hand crossed as he looked straight ahead, ignoring the fangirls that were backing off but still staring his way.
Hide smiled at him nonetheless.
"Hi Sasuke." She greeted, her eyes closed giving him an eye smile as well as a small one formed on her lips. He looked her way but said nothing, his eyes didn't hold the usual bored or annoyed gaze in them.
The teal haired girl angled herself so she was facing him unaware of the dirty looks the girls behind them were giving.
"Are you nervous about the exam?" she questioned, her big eyes held curiosity that was contrasted his neutral expression. He said nothing, as usual. She continued.
"Well no, I guess not you pretty much have it in the bag." Hide chuckled softly. Talks like this, between her and Sasuke typically went in this fashion. She would do most of the talking while he just released a one word answer, if he even said anything at all.
