White beams of light fell onto the pinkette's closed eyelids that warmed her face and awakened her from her slumber.
With each second that had passed, she felt more and more awake until emerald eyes were shot open from the anxiety now running throughout her body.
"I don't live here!" Sakura first yelled out in a worry. Head whipping left and right seeing the familiarity of pictures on a wall and a spotless living room and the area between dining and kitchen.
She was still in Hide's house. She sent the entire day and night in Hide's home.
Oh, Kami her mom was gonna kill her.
"Hide?" The Haruno girl called out, hearing nothing but the sound of her own voice. No one replied to her call.
Emerald hues scanned around seeing no one. The purple blanket around Sakura's shoulders now onto her lap as she sat up still glancing around for Hide.
The sunlight peering through the window hit Sakura with a warmth telling her it was close to the afternoon by how the sun shined. Eyes scattered to the clock hanging on the wall, it read 10: 32.
The small wisps of light piercing through the half-opened curtain fell upon the couch Sakura just laid on and onto the coffee table that glowed a small parchment from the sunlight.
A note was written for Sakura.
'Hey, Sakura thanks for doing all the research it really helped a lot. Don't worry about your parents I swung by your home and told them we were having a sleepover :) Feel free to rummage through the fridge. I don't have much but there should be something for you to eat.'
- HideSakura set the note back on the table moving past the living room and entering the small space where the doors all met. Knuckles tapped gently on the closed door.
"Hide? You there?" The pinkette called out. She got no response.
Again she knocked and called out to Hide but nothing. It was only ten so maybe she fell back to sleep after visiting her parents Sakura thought.
Her fingers wrapped around the doorknob in a tight grip twisting slowly and pushing inward at a slow pace to avoid a squeaky sound. The pinkette poked through the small opening and searched for the sleeping greenie.
"Huh?" Sakura pushed opened the door and stepped in. No one was in here. The bed, just like the rest of the home was in a pristine condition, the only thing appearing in order were the books in every nook and cranny but no Hide was insight.
'If she's not here then where is she?' Sakura pondered the questioned as she again searched for any sign of green strands of hair placed in a ponytail but found herself standing in her own company.
