The genins of team seven slumped against the bridge right in front of their client's home. Kakashi leaned besides one of the pillars, his nose in his orange book. They swore the earth was coming to an end when their sensei showed up earlier than usual while one of their team members had still yet to arrive.
Sakura wanted to groan in annoyance expecting this from Kakashi-sensei but from Hide....well then again she was always late to class back at the academy if she showed up at all.
Her eyes peaked over to the silver-haired man giggling into his book. This was his fault she was sure of it.
It wasn't even noon yet and she knew a headache was bound to come thanks to the blonde boy and raven haired boy's attitude. Sakura expected that since their mission to the Land of Waves that the two would be thick as thieves like a certain pair but it was quite the opposite, the two were worse than ever which ticked the pinkette off.
Fighting for any little thing like looking the same way, making eye contact, going as far as taking in too much air.
Her emerald eyes found their way to the Uchiha calmly ignoring the loud mouth boy. It wasn't often but her heart would twinge with pain whenever he and the green-haired beauty would strike up a conversation.
The Land of Waves changed their relationship at least that's how it looked like to her. Sasuke no longer ignored the Yukimura but would respond to her questions and conversation starters, granted it was the occasional one liner but it was more than he gave the pinkette. She couldn't describe it, their relationship....it was-
"Sorry I'm late." Sakura snapped out of her thoughts hearing the voice of one of her thoughts. Emerald eyes widened and a red tint colored her cheeks when her eyes found their way to Hide.
She looked....
"Wow." Naruto breathed out answering Sakura's train of thought. Even Kakashi-sensei peeked out of his book to divert his attention to the dressed up girl. Light brown eyes found their way to the ground with rose filling her cheeks and a small quiver of a smile on her lips.
Unlike her usual outfit of Yellow-orange and black, today she sported red. A one shouldered red shirt cut from her stomach showing her smooth and toned abdomen. Her black shorts were replaced with the same shade of red skirt which reached close to her ankles. Her ninja sandals were replaced with black flats and her hair was thrown in her signature ponytail with loose strands shaping her face. In between it all, her necklace shined for everyone to see.
"You look....you look...wow." Naruto stuttered. Sakura couldn't have said it better herself. She noticed his sun kissed face a shade redder, cerulean blues widened twice their size glistening as he looked over at the blushing girl.
