"You're an embarrassment to our village." He spat towards the taller boy. Gasps were heard all around her but she never removed her eyes on the red-haired boy. She was confused as to why she thought him familiar. Hide had never once seen him before but looking into those eyes...
"Uh...hey Gaara." The boy now known as Kankuro greeted nervously.
The red-haired boy Gaara ignored the looks of terror given to him by the unknown people and his own siblings. Light green were on light brown. She didn't process the same fear like he was used to, no her eyes were wide with curiosity.
'So familiar.' Both green-haired and red-haired thought.

Hide's light brown were stuck on the pupiless green orbs that held a layer of coldness in them. Kankuro backing away didn't go unnoticed from her peripheral vision. It was blurred but his smeared makeup face was displaying a level of fear she has never known before. It was obvious this boy, he was powerful if he sent makeup boy to the high tier of fear.
"I'm sorry, for any trouble he's caused." Hide perked at the apology coming from the boy. Light green met with light brown. Just as she was inspecting him, he was inspecting her.
She didn't look much with the girly outfit she wore but clearly a ninja by the force of the punch and gleam in her eye when Kankuro was ready to pound the small boy. She looked funny, not in the sense of goofiness but odd, her hair- it was green something he had never seen. His eyes left her and moved to the Kankuro size whole behind him and Temari. She was definitely nothing he has ever seen.
Hide spent most of the time in silence processing the apology, she didn't realize she had created an atmosphere of silence. Green flickered between her and Kankuro. Said boy now gave her pleading eyes as if he prayed for her to accept the apology and spare him the duty of facing Gaara.
"Oh, its fine. Apology accepted." She answered sheeply. Eyes glancing away blinking several times as the pink met her cheeks from the embarrassment of all eyes on her.
Light green landed away from the girl and moved to Kankuro who upon feeling the cold eyes on him stiffened.
His own eyes widened from being subject gated to his wrath. He didn't know what to do, should he freeze in place and hope the girl's acceptance stopped his blood thirst? Or should he use her as a shield and push her towards him so she faced him?
Kankuro didn't have much time to contemplate the two ideas before sand enveloped Gaara like a tornado. He disappeared from his spot only to reappear next to him. Green met dark brown.
"Let's go. We didn't come here to play games." Gaara ordered. Kankuro made no objections stuttering out an agreement. He strapped his binded pack back on his back and began to step in line with Gaara and Temari.
