She was alone and then she wasn't.
He was alone and because of her he wasn't.
He had a family but lost them.
She had a family and like him lost them.
Two became friends as closest...

When Hide and Sasuke arrived at the main gates, both realized that they were the last two show. Something unusual to the Uchiha, seeing as he was typically the first one to arrive or if not the second. Sasuke noticed the looks given to him by Kakashi when he noticed the red colored backpack on his back as opposed to the usual blue one which Hide happened to be wearing.
Kakashi inspected the young Uchiha. He didn't stand his usual confident and soldier like posture but hunch slightly, trying his best (and failing) to stand straight. Sasuke compared to Hide seemed to be breathing a little more and had sweat building up the sides on his temple indicating he was tired. Kakashi looked at the red backpack on the boy's back and already assumed why it was. He looked further into the pair, one seemed to be all smiles and almost shining next to the other trying to get him to recuperate, but the other only glared around him but made no move to walk away, staying by her side.
Now that the older man though about it, the human vessel of the sun seemed to be the only one the cold boy did not shrug off or even yell at since their time together in team seven. And now, this proved it, caring a pack that is clearly weighing him down just so she doesn't have to.
'Huh who would've thought? The boy does use his heart.'
Naruto's cheers interrupted Kakashi's thoughts.
"What are you getting all excited about Naruto?" Sakura questioned.
"This is the first time I ever left the village. I'm a traveler now believe it." Naruto gave an insight as he scouted all around him excitedly. Hide muffled the giggles coming from her as she watched Naruto. She felt the exact same way as her friend did only had a better way of covering her excitement.
"Hey! Am I supposed to trust my life to this runt, he's a joke." Tazuna judged with one finger pointed towards the happy idiot. Naruto stopped his cheering, now dead serious. He slouched forward with no expression to show what he was thinking but Hide gathered it was what Tazuna had said of him. His arms were crossed and froze for a split second before anger took course.
"Hey! Never insult a ninja it's a big mistake and I'm one of the greatest ninja ever!" Naruto yelled out, one finger pointed towards the bridge builder. Determination now rested his deep blue eyes. "Someday I'm gonna be hokage and you'll look up to me!"
"My name's Naruto Uzumaki! Remember it!"
Tazuna took a big gulp from his bottle before he looked down at the boy unimpressed.
"Hokage are powerful and wise, you're puny and brainless. You become hokage, I'll spread wings and fly."
A vein popped on the side of Naruto's temple. His fist clenched to his side, knuckles turning a hot white and his eyes shut and twitched underneath his eyelids. Hide knew the blond was getting ready to counter argue in the loudest way possible but she leaned in to stop it.
