I found this in the depths of my drawing app and decided to finish it. Inspired by a narusaku edit, I figured that since this arc holds more naruhide scenes that they get a proper edit!

They say encountering a fight with one of the legendary sannin is a suicide mission. The reputation gained from the shinobi world war mixed with one of the Hokage's being their sensei and the level of strength procured from their different level of fields had their level of lethal matched to that of a Kage. And though age has worn at them, their expertise as shinobi has only finite itself.
Anyone with a brain would know to run in the opposite direction if ever encountered in battle and pray to the higher powers above that they see you as nothing more than an insect so they don't hold the grudge of being hunted down and exterminated for crossing them on a bad day.
The Legendary Sannin are world renown, feared, admired—
And yet, all built up reputation, all deftness, all the years of pain and hard work can be tossed out the window in Jiraiya's eyes at the hands of a thirteen-year-old.
Darkness consumed the skies leaving no speck of daylights to illuminate the lands down below. The trio no longer stood in the wreckage of their former shelter for they in the span of the fight's end and sundown taking place have they found a temporary home in a decent-sized hot springs miles from the battle zone.

The writer knew that if Sasuke had any sort of survival, it would be with his former flame. Who coincidentally happened to be in the small village the trio occupied.
Jiraiya had the plan of attempting contact that night. Naruto's incentive bugging for his comatose friend (the female one) and his badgering questions if she were alright and what he had done to her, had the older man throwing Minato's jutsu his way to keep him from his constant worrying.
