'Finally, 301.' Hide thought joyfully.
The walk upward following Lee's departure was one filled with tense silence, no doubt from Lee's words and Naruto's slander of the Uchiha name.
Sakura and Naruto went off ahead first, Hide's order seeing as the Uchiha was still reeling with anger. She kept a good distance in order to not get attacked.
One minute, two minutes, three, passed before the cold look again met Sasuke's face devoid of the anger.
He said nothing before following past the two other members with Hide behind him, with a watchful eye on his figure.
The greenie stood at the center parting the Uzumaki and Uchiha to one side with Sakura standing on Sasuke's right side.
Silence ensued between the four as they made their way up the stairs, down the hall and when they paused in front of their sensei.
The Yukimura had last seen the older man sleeping on a hospital bed when she dropped off his miso ramen. Her lips curled into a warm smile seeing him back on his feet, uninjured.
"Glad you came Sakura." The older man greeted. The pinkette stood talk hearing her name. Soft pink touched her cheeks having the attention on her. Eyes fell to the brown flooring with an appreciative smile. The green slid her eyes to the blushing girl, a smile of her own fell on her lips.
She too was proud to see Sakura had listened to her words of encouragement and showed up despite her sense of inferiority to the rest. It was progress.
"You all showed up and for the right reasons," dark eyes continued on the pinkette.
"Sakura," the cherry blossom girl removed her eyes from the floor and on her sensei.
"Naruto," the blue eyes boy hummed at the sound of his name, a smile costed his lips.
"Sasuke," the ravenette held a smirk on his lips.
"Hide," the greenie couldn't help but hum and let her own smile show, feeling the blood rushing to her cheeks.
The older man's serious tone and expression like a switch turned to one of warmth from the eye smile he had given the four. His lips couldn't be seen but from the crinkle in his mask, they could assume he was smiling at them.
