The pair in calling stood a good distance between one another. Silence had taken hold of everyone. All but the two girls occupied the upper flooring of the room leaving the entire lower floor towards the two girls who had yet to move or take action. The proctor stood before the two girls but a good distance between them.
"Are there any objections between this match?" The proctor questioned. His eyes moved left and right to the girls whose eyes remained locked on each other.
"No."
"Nope."
"Well, then. You may begi-"
The vermillion girl didn't waste any time, seals were formed and out with one hand touched the earth. From her touch, slabs of the ground shot up heading towards Hide. The greenie noticed the earth come her way and jumped acrobatically, landing on one of the slabs of earth with already formed hand signs.
"Fire style: fireball jutsu!"
The white hot blue flames heated from Hide's lips and sent in a heated storm towards Kaida. Said girl too had her hand seals formed and earth already to her aid, surrounding her in a sphere of protection.
The earth sphere stopped the flames from reaching Kaida but the Yukimura was relentless. Jumping from the earth slab she continues to spew out fire as she got closer and closer to the unmoving sphere, chipping at it little by little and raising the heat from within turning the earth tones a darker shade.
"Hey, Kakashi-Sensei?" The loud Uzumaki spoke in a soft tone.
The man in question hummed, turning his head in the direction of the boy but not keeping his eye off the battle in front of him.
The boy too kept his eyes on the fight, "I've seen Sasuke and Hide both do that jutsu and Sasuke's flames are red; why is Hide's blue?"
That...was something Kakashi was sure he would answer truthfully. It was something he was told through his former sensei that Yukimuras ran hotter than most. Before he didn't understand why but now, that he knew some part of the secrecy of the Yukimura clan he understood. How does one go about in telling their genin that one of their teammates might be holding a powerful creature that can downright kill them all and be the reasoning for a more hotter flame?
Yeah, probably not the best way to go. Even so, now that his suspicion to the idea being possibly true.
It would explain his second answer. Power. The power one puts into a jutsu needs to be efficient and have the strength to carry out a jutsu. Hide's control over chakra was impeccable, better than Sasuke's. It wouldn't come to a shock for her to put more power into her flames thus producing a stronger flame.
