77 : Sturdy Water vs Windy Fire

I know many of you are now getting a little tired of reading so many battles back to back. Trust me. This is the last battle though it has been divided into 6 chapters. Once the battles end the story will become interesting again. You have my word in this regard.

So if you have been reading non stop till here. Take a little break of 10 - 15 minutes before continuing. The back to back battles can get a little frustrating. It's the tournament and can't be helped. Also another reason why I am telling you to take a little is because now the real battles begin. As revealed in Serena's battle with Tobias. Ash and Serena have been holding back due to the Dragon Emperor's orders. Now that they are facing each other and not other opponents. They will duke it out at a level that will far surpass the previous battles you have read. For some of you it will be illogical. Some will be like awesome. Some will say it's repetitive. Everyone's correct but just take a deep breath, grab your popcorn and prepare to read battles like you might have rarely come up against before. Things will get fuc**g serious. So gear up to read the showdown of showdowns.

"Welcome one. Welcome all. I am Diantha the Kalos champion and owner of the Kalos Institute of Pokemon. With me are Drayden, the owner of the Opelucid academy and Lorelei owner of the Kanto school. Today is a historic day. For today after so many days of intense battling the Tri School Pokemon tournament will be concluded with the final battle. And also joining us for this special occasion is the entire Pokemon league, the entire Contest board, the entire Showcase board and all the Island Kahunas from the Alola region." Diantha says as the crowd goes wild with cheer as everyone introduced takes a bow. After a few minutes of deafening cheering Diantha raises her hand and clears her throat near the microphone causing everyone to go silent.

"Alright. Now we present the finalists. Joining us on the right is your very own. Epitome of beauty, grace and the crown jewel of Pokemon showcases, Kalos Queen Serena." Diantha says as Serena comes into the view while smiling radiantly. Whistles and scream of cheer echo throughout the stadium as Serena waves at everyone. The whistling grows even more louder when she blow a kiss into the crowd while walking towards the trainer's box as several boys faint.

"And now joining us from the right. The trainer who along with his girlfriend has been responsible for giving us sleepless nights. The pride of KIP's Pokemon battling, your very own KIP champion, Ash Ketchum." Diantha announces as the stadium echos with laughter and cheer. As Ash walks he winks at several girls who also faint. Both Grace and Delia are clapping very hard for both their children.

"Now. Wait and watch. For all your patience is about to rewarded. For the much awaited and anticipated final match shall begin in 5 minutes. Till then wait." Diantha says before walking away knowing that everyone is packed with excitement for this clash of titan match.

"Well Diantha. It's good to be here." Goodshow says as Diantha takes her seat.

"Thank you professor." Diantha replies.

"Indeed. For it is getting very boring without any leagues going on. I think we are all ready to restart leagues, contests and showcases after this time." Goodshow replies.

"Thank you once again professor. I just wished we hadn't failed you at that time. If we hadn't then the leagues etc. wouldn't have stopped in the first place." Diantha says in a guilty tone as she and all the champions look at the feet while they reminisce the day they were annihilated by Dragon Emperor.
