I walked up to the cell where I kept Ben. He looked almost dead, sleeping in his cell. I laughed at my own joking thought. He was dead, but still he was very much alive. Ben stirred suddenly. He groaned.
"Ah," I stated, "he awakens."
Ben staggered to his feet.
"What have you done to me?" he groaned and leaned against the bullet proof glass cell.
I looked at him smiling mischievously.
"Only what I had to do," I answered.
When I looked at Ben, I got the sense of wonder. What was his story, and how did he get this way.
"but, why?" Ben asked snapping my mind back to realty.
"You are now an experiment of Ground Zero. We are going to cure you, Ben." I replied staring blankly at my reflection in the glass. My dark hair was a mess tied back with a black bandanna.
"You're crazy you know that?" Ben stated glaring at me. There was a gleam of light in my sad eyes.
"I know."
