Jesse is who you want them to be. Jesse may not be their name. But Jesse is in every story you read. Every story with a character is a Jesse. No one thinks about Jesse. No one even really knows who Jesse is. But Jesse is in every story. Jesse was there when the author forgot to mention Jesse. Jesse was there when Jesse was a main character. Jesse is in every story, but not everyone sees Jesse. Do you think Jesse is sick of his life? Jesse's constantly changed physically and mentally to fit any story. Maybe Jesse was the hero, maybe Jesse was the villain, maybe Jesse was in the crowd. But Jesse was in the story. Jesse even appears in real life. Maybe there's a Jesse in your friend group. Maybe a Jesse is in the same building or street as you. But one thing is known for sure about Jesse, you can't be a Jesse but you can be a Jesse. Someone can know you are a Jesse but you might know they are a Jesse. But you are both not and are Jesse's. Jesse is funny/ kind / mean / evil/ sadistic/ sarcastic/ happy/ sad/ depressed/ optimistic / lonely/ a dog / a cat/ a fish/ a human / nothing/ everything. If you think too hard, you'll never notice Jesse's but if you don't think hard enough, you'll never spot Jesse's. But you can't be a Jesse. Not to you.
