The school hallways were dark on the thirteenth floor. I was up way past the school curfew. I was about to walk into my room when I saw my neighbour's door had an ominous red glow coming out beneath it. My neighbour had always been a charismatic guy, I didn't know much besides his name but he was polite and charming. The glow seemed to attract me as of it was calling out to me. I touched the door and found it was slightly ajar and it slowly opened to reveal my neighbour with a red light emanating from his eyes as it filled the room and horns growing out of his for head. He was looking down until I came in. My heart stopped. Literally. My pulse stopped and everything went dark. The last thing I remember was that thing looking at me.

The next morning, I awoke in my bed. My alarm was screaming at me to wake up. I knew I didn't dream of that. If someone like me who dreams of the most mundane things like walking down a street suddenly has the capability to dream of a demon lord next door, you'd know that either I was high off my ass or it actually happened. Not really knowing what to do, I take some salt, dump it into a cup of tap water and knock aggressively on his door. When he opens, he smiles and says "Manelle, nice to see you this morning!" Without skipping a beat, I throw the cup of salted water on his face. It sizzles as it touches his skin. Still smiling, he pulls me inside his room and slams the door. "So, you uh remember" he chuckles, salt water still sizzling away. "Yeah I do" I say calmly. "Isn't it a bit on the nose for Satan to be living on the thirteenth floor in room 666?" I ask him. "Y'know I have a name you know" he sighs. "Is it Lucifer?" I guess. He stops. "I guess you're not wrong?" "So you're Lucifer" "yes" he sighs. I walk past him, fill my cup with more tap water and dump the remaining salt I had on me and chuck it on him. "Hey that kinda burns a little y'know?!" "Yeah just wanted to double check, you're a demon after all". He snapped his fingers and a business card appeared in flames on my hand. They didn't burn but the warmth was there. The card read: Lucifer, demon, look at dot on the back. "How dumb do you think I am?" I ask Lucifer. "Look at dot on back?" "Will starring at the dot make me lose my soul and become your slave or something?" "Uh no?" Lucifer said confused. "Look, I am face to face with a demon, and you give me an ominous business card". I tear the card in half the the pieces burn after I do so. "Hey I worked really hard on those!" Lucifer complained. "So uh, what are you going to do about me?" He asked. "I dunno" I say, "throw more salt water on you?" "Please don't" he begs. "It doesn't hurt that much but it is irritating, the beach is a nightmare for me". "So Lucifer is afraid of salt water" I say, "I'll make a note of that". "For now I'll just live life as normal, just don't try anything". "Believe me, Manelle, if I wanted to do something, I would've already done it". A chill runs down my spine. A little scared, I regain my composure and walk out the door, "see you around Lucifer".

Lucifer sighed. I can't believe someone found out he thought. But he knew that everything would be just fine tomorrow.
