Chapter 6- Coming Soon

The cheerful one had a troubled face as he stared down blankly at his homework. He kept on glancing at the other boy, asking for help. The thick glasses boy turned to teach him. Ronald stood around the corner behind the two, as he listened in on them.

"Elder brother, how do you write this sentence? I don't understand this either."

"Xi Yu, you need to read the textbook if you want to answer this. It was written there. And this one is about....."

Oh, the cheerful one is the younger one. Then the glasses one is the elder?Ronald chuckled and then only he realized he had spoken out his mind out loud. The twins had turned around, and both were staring at him. 

"Sorry, I saw you two at the arcade not long ago. I were only curious which one of you are the older one."

"Ah, it's fine, Senior. I'm Xie Xi Yu and this is my elder brother, Xie Xi Qi. He's older than me by 5 minutes."

"Oh.. I'm Mo Ding Chen. A third year. You can call me Ronald."

"Okay, Senior Ronald."

Xie Xi Yu spoke in a playful voice, while Xie Xi Qi only nodded at him. Ronald smiled. This pair of twins are quite interesting. He often went to the library where he would met the twins, but most of the time, Xie Xi Qi would be there alone, studying. Xie Xi Yu had joined the volleyball club so he was busy with the club practices few times a week. He often helped them with their homework so they were soon familiarized with one another. Even Xi Qi had started to warm up to him. 

He learned that the twins were living together, apart from their parents, after they divorced. But they were still financially supported by the parents. He knew that the two would study in the library most of the time after school and they limited themselves to play Mirrorland only once a week at the arcade as their exam ranking was what their parents had set as the requirement for living alone. Otherwise, they would be separated to follow their parents who now had made their own families. 

Ronald once had noticed Xi Qi fallen asleep in the empty library, with the books stacking high around him. He moved his seat next to Xi Qi and helped him removed his glasses. Ronald then noticed a small mole around his left eye. His finger slightly touched the mole and Ronald felt something stirred up in his heart as he stared at the sleeping boy. His face closing in, and he could see the long eyelashes on him. Xie Xi Qi woke up when the book tower fell and buried him. He saw Ronald sitting next to him, reading a history book upside down. He rubbed on his eyes and wore back his glasses.

"Senior Ronald, your book is upside down."

"Huh? Oh."

Ronald was flustered, he quickly closed the book and stood up.

"I'm going now. Why don't you go home and sleep if you're tired."

"Ah, then I'll go once I'm done with this exercise book. Goodbye, Senior Ronald."

Ronald left the library. His hand placed on his chest. He could still feel that his heart had almost jumped out from earlier. "What am I doing?"

The time they got along wasn't long, and Ronald graduated. That was the last he had seen them before he went to study abroad in A Country. The twins brought him a bouquet of fresh flowers and they took a photo of commemoration. Ronald had kept it with him in his wallet till now. He remembered he had heard from a friend in M&J few years later that the twins had become some sort of idols in the gaming world. They joined the Mirrorland competition for beta testers and they had qualified for the finals. But then they disappeared. And even their characters, Spade of Seventh Heaven and Seven Sin had never once appeared in Mirrorland anymore. No one knows what happened to them till he met Xie Xi Qi once again. He was happy with their reunion and only he knew, his heart still beat at the sight of Xie Xi Qi. Even though the latter had grown a lot more maturity and had a man's charm now. Ronald smirked as he held onto the photo he had usually kept in his wallet. 

"This time, I definitely will not take my eyes off you."

{party} Mr7: you're coming to C Country?
KingAce nodded, and his huge sword cut down another goblin. He stopped for a moment to gulp down a vial of blue liquid, increasing his MP.
{party} KingAce: yeah. I've just graduated from the university, so I'll be going to C Country in a week.
{party} XeroMo: haha. He was actually forced by my brother to join the company. Morris and I would be joining the company too.
{party} KingAce: well, even if he doesn't force me, I still will return to C Country. There's someone I've wanted to meet.
{party} Lena28: girlfriend?
{party} Morris: nope, I've heard it's a boy though. Someone he had a crush on early on before he was forced to come to A Country.
{party} Lena28: he was a homo* too? I see... (No wonder he's kinda attracted to Senior Xi Qi like a magnet.. Birds of a feather flock together. This really is...)
{party} KingAce: when we're in C Country, do you want to come for an offline meeting? 

KingAce stared at Mr7, not sure whether he would accept or reject his proposal to meet up in real life. After all, they have had only known each other for only two months. He felt his heartbeat accelerated in the waiting. 

{party} Mr7: let me think about it. If I'm not busy, I might be okay with attending the meeting.
KingAce's eyes lit up in excitement. He wasn't rejected!
{party} KingAce: really? Okay! Then I'll wait till you're free. Make sure you call us out then. I'll give you my phone number when I made one later.

Lena28 looked at the warlord character who looked as if he was a puppy wagging a tail, then turned to look at Mr7. As per usual, he's covered up by his purple veil and his long fringes hiding his eyes. He looked more like a mysterious assassin than Morris who was one. Does this warlord had a deficit in his brain?

Mr7 opened his inventory and took out a few items which he traded to some of the party members. 

{party} Morris: wow! A new cloak! You really made these? Awesome.
{party} XeroMo: having a blacksmith in our team sure make things easier.
XeroMo had changed out his gloves to the one he traded from Mr7. It was glittering from all those rare materials. The stats were pretty good too.
{party} Mr7: well, I have a pretty high success rate for smithing, so if you have any other requests, bring me the materials and I'll make something out of my workshop. (the conveniences of being an inventor means i don't need to waste my time with smithing in a workshop. All I need is to combine the materials together within my inventory. As if I would tell them about this.)
{party} XeroMo: thanks!
{party} Morris: thank you! Haha, Ace gets nothing this time.
{party} XeroMo: who asked him to refuse Mr7 last time when he was asking whether we need to make any equipment...

Mr7 looked around, when he noticed the only warlord in their party was squatting on the side, i the middle of the field of growing mushrooms... Xie Xi Qi silently noted down in his mind. This guy is so troublesome!
