Chapter 12- I'll treat you well

'Xie Xi Yu, wait till I'm adult, I'll definitely come find you!'

Xi Qi still remembered it clearly. That day on that year, when Xi Yu accidentally broke his glasses at home. And Xi Qi had to go to the shop to get a new one done. As the shop was rather busy, he could only wait in the next two days to collect it. And thus he wore the eye contact lens while in the waiting.

On the way to M&J to join the competition, Xi Qi met a middle school boy who was being bullied by his classmates.

He had always disliked these kind of people, oppressing those weaker than themselves. Although he was a rather timid one himself, Xi Qi came forward to help the boy. He only learned that his name was called "Jing Wen Xun" soon afterwards.

As the middle school boy was shorter than him, Xi Qi nicknamed him, "little Ah Xun" in his heart. He thought they wouldn't meet again, but he saw the boy the very next day, right after he finished a match, using the character "Spade of Seventh Heaven" which was supposed to belong to his little brother, Xi Yu.

Xi Qi went stiff, when the boy suddenly kissed him. He'd only reacted after he saw little Ah Xun being dragged away by his old grandfather. And the words spoken by him were deeply engraved in his heart as his face was blushing red.

Those who have seen it, and heard him, all turned their eyes away, acting as if they knew nothing of what just happened earlier. And someone suddenly patted on Xi Qi's shoulder.

"Brother."

It was Xie Xi Yu, who wore a black jumper, a blue cap and a pair of glasses with no prescription.

"Brother, your first kiss just got snatched up by a kid?"

Xie Xi Qi face palmed. His ears reddened as well. Hah, my brother is so damn cute! Xie Xi Yu chuckled.

"Don't say it, I'm thoroughly embarrassed this time. How can he just proposed to me like that? He should at least wait till we're old enough....."

Xie Xi Yu gaped his mouth open. His age was the problem? What about his sex? Ah, wait.... That kid just now said Xie Xi Yu, it can't be, he thought brother's name is Xie Xi Yu? This is crazy! What time is it now? Oops.... We're going to be late.

"Alright, alright! Let's get change. We still have to rush to the hospital. Esther and Austen are already there. I've heard mum just gave birth to our baby little brother."

Xie Xi Yu pulled Xi Qi to the backstage as he passed a bag to Xi Qi, who opened it and took out a set of clothes. He immediately took off his clothes and wore the set. Xi Yu removed the fake accessory glasses he was wearing, fished out a glasses box from his own backpack and passed it to Xi Qi. Xi Qi pinched out his contact lenses and wore the new pair of glasses. The twins then ran out of the building as fast as they can.

Xi Qi huddled himself in the blanket, trying to sleep, but his mind was full of the thoughts of him. He turned around, and saw the man in his mind was staring at him.

"What's wrong? Can't sleep?"

"Aren't you getting home? It's a bit late now, and visiting hours had ended. Even Mi Zhou had left."

"It's fine, I'll sleep on the couch tonight. If you can't sleep, how about we chat for awhile? I want to know more about you."

"Alright. What do you want to know?"

Xi Qi nodded. He too, wanted to get to know of this man.

"You're really Xie Xi Qi from Creative Department, team 1?"

He raised his brows as he looked at the patient who was blinking his eyes in question. Xi Qi was surprised. Why would he ask that? Did he not know?

"Yes."

"Then you're the creator of the NPCs called Falma and Foe, and were you the user that KOed me that time?"

"Why do you know that?"

Xi Qi thought back to the message Mi Zhou sent to him. He's really KingAce?

"I've checked on the data at the company. I hope you don't mind. I'm KingAce in TMO."

"Why would you check on Falma and Foe?"

"Ah, that.... I were a bit curious of the one that works behind the NPCs, that's all. Your designs....were beautiful."

Just like "Spade of Seventh Heaven". The familiarities piqued his interest to know of the man that designs those characters.

"Um, thank you. That.... This morning....I'm sorry for hitting you. Does it still hurt?"

Jing Wen Xun looked at Xie Xi Qi who seemed a little nervous. He smiled.

"I'm fine. I deserved that punch after all, you know. And you're here in the hospital because of me..... Say, won't you give me a chance to court you?"

Xi Qi covered his head with the blanket. This made it the second time he was being confessed to. He was shy and embarrassed. Jing Wen Xun noticed Xi Qi had an introverted personality. He would shy away whenever there's something there that made him unable to make a decision.

He grabbed Xi Qi's hands. Not giving him a leeway to run from him. And he made Xie Xi Qi looked straight at him.

"I'll be good to you. This, I can promise you with my life. So don't run away from me, Xi Qi."

Xie Xi Qi shyly nodded. His heart was thumping loud, he could hear it as if it was just right next to his ears. Jing Wen Xun leaned over and placed a kiss on his forehead. And he tucked Xi Qi's hands back inside the blanket.

"Alright now, go to sleep. Good night."

"Good night."

Jing Wen Xun went to lie down on the couch. In his heart, he said, God has given me the chance to love once more. This time, I won't let go of him. I would cherish him as long as I live. Although I weren't sure that I would forget Xie Xi Yu, perhaps only time would tell. And he closed his eyes.
