Chapter 10

"Xie Xi Qi?"

The guy from the Creative Department looked over to the desk at the inner corner of the room. Seeing it empty, he asked the colleague who sat beside the desk.

"Ah Chen, where did Senior Xi Qi go?"

"Senior Xi Qi? I think he went to the printer room in level 3. Team leader Ze made him prepare the materials for the next meeting."

"The printing room? Okay, then we'll go look for her over there. Thanks."

Jing Wen Xun and Qiu Jin Shui turned away. The printing room's in level 3 while the Creative Department's in level 5, so they had to take the lift. Reaching the printing room, it was vacant. No one was there. A female staff walked in. Jing Wen Xun asked her.

"Excuse me, have you seen Xie Xi Qi from the Creative Department?"

"Yes, I have. But currently, they're in the meeting with the Creative Director Chen in the meeting room in level 6. They should be done in an hour."

"Okay, thanks."

The female staff left. Qiu Jin Shui looked at Jing Wen Xun, and sighed.
"Let's go back and wait."

An hour later, Jing Wen Xun went to the Creative Department once more. On level 5, the first lift opened on the left, and Xie Xi Qi walked in. As the door closes, the other lift on the right side opened, with Jing Wen Xun arriving onto that level. 

"Has Xie Xi Qi came back from the meeting?"

The same guy from earlier replied him, his brows arched upwards.
"You haven't met him earlier? He'd just left just now."

Jing Wen Xun felt his mouth twitching, I've been looking for this Xie Xi Qi whole afternoon, and keep on missing her. Is there really such a thing in life, called coincidence? 

"Ah.....then I'll come back again tomorrow. Could you tell her that I'm looking for her tomorrow? I'm called Jing Wen Xun, from the Development Team."

He was just about to turn around when he heard another guy said,
"Senior Xi Qi's face doesn't look good today. I don't think he might be coming tomorrow or the day after though..... He did say he was going to the hospital."

Jing Wen Xun dropped his jaw. Seriously?

Xi Qi felt his abdomen churning in pain. And he was having a fever. So he went to the hospital to see the doctor. In the room, the doctor's face twitched when he heard Xi Qi spoke of his symptoms. A gay guy? He asked Xi Qi whether he had sex yesterday. 

"Uh......yeah. With my boyfriend. He forgot to wear a condom yesterday." 

As if he could tell anyone it was a drunk, one night stand with a stranger. Which was why he made up a lie. The doctor made Xi Qi stay two nights in the ward. 

Xi Qi was resting in the ward when he'd only saw the message sent by Mi Zhou. He frowned. What the hell? That guy from yesterday might be that perverted KingAce? He immediately called Mi Zhou. But it was answered by the answering machine.

"Mi Zhou, I'm in the hospital. I'd just saw your message. I won't go to your lab. I'm taking two days off from work for now."

When Mi Zhou heard the voice mail, she wasn't sure whether she should go visit Xi Qi straight away after work, but when she passed by Jin Wen Xun's office, she overheard their conversation. She heard as Qiu Jin Shui was saying about Jing Wen Xun looking for a female staff from another department. 

You've just done Senior Xi Qi in yesterday, now you're going to look for another girl? Damn you!
Furiously, she stormed into Jing Wen Xun's office, and her face darkened. 

"I actually don't want to let you meet my Senior, but I don't want to care anymore. You're the friend of that Jin Shui guy from the pub yesterday right? The one that left with my Senior. It's your fault that my Senior had to stay at the hospital, you should take the responsibility, don't you think?"

Jing Wen Xun's eyes widened. That guy's in the hospital? And it's his fault? Could it be because of what they did yesterday? 

"Which hospital?"

Jing Wen Xun and Qiu Jin Shui blindly followed Mi Zhou to Q hospital. They had never spoken a word along the way till they reached the ward where Xie Xi Qi was resting. Mi Zhou knocked on the door and entered, but the other two had their eyes glued to the door plate which was clearly written "Xie Xi Qi", the patient's name.

"Hey, do you think this is a coincidence or what? This guy's name is also Xie Xi Qi?"

Jin Shui said. Jing Wen Xun's mind was blowing up at the moment. How could it be? But earlier, the guy from the Creative Department said Xie Xi Qi left work early, because she was not feeling well, and might take days off to rest. But she is actually a he?

"What are you still doing out here? Come in!"

Mi Zhou bellowed at them. The two men then entered the room. Xie Xi Qi was sleeping with a peaceful expression although his face was rather pale , and his arm being attached with an IV infusion. 

"Mi Li Zhou, let me ask you a question. His name is really called Xie Xi Qi? Which department is he working in?"

Mi Zhou stared at him. Was he blind? "Senior's name is already written on the door plate, yet you're still asking? And Senior Xi Qi is a Senior Character Designer in team 1, of the Creative Department. Tch, you slept with him yet you don't know?"

The doctor overheard their conversation, and came in, with a perplexed look, staring at the two men. 

"Who's the one? The one that forgot to wear his condom, and doesn't even care about splitting his partner's ass?"

A/N : "he" and "her" in chinese when read is the same. And "Senior" is the calling of someone with seniority and respectable within a profession.
