Chapter 16 (Date part 2)

Jing Wen Xun was standing on the same spot as he watched Xie Xi Qi whose expression seemed like he was about to explode soon enough. He placed his temporary game card in his hand, and Xi Qi took it and entered the game.

He watched on the screen, when the characters appeared. Xie Xi Qi did not choose to retreat like he previously did. His character stood there, even wriggling a finger at the opponent, making the other furiously charged over.

The opponent was a spear fighter. He thrust his spear forward at Xi Qi. Jing Wen Xun watched in silence, but his hands were already clasped up into fists. He was nervous, why did Xie Xi Qi do that? As long a spear fighter reached a distance, his warlord wouldn't be able to avoid his attack.

But then, he noticed that it was too late. The spear fighter had indeed reached the attack distance required.

Xie Xi Qi simply made a simple dodge aside, and when the spear went over the space he once stood, Xi Qi turned to face the back of the opponent. And struck the back with a kick. The opponent fell on the ground, spear still in hand as he tried to stand and retreat at once. But Xie Xi Qi wouldn't let him go this easily, he rushed at him and started pummeling the spear fighter. Slaps, and punches, and a lot of kicks involved.

The combo count started up, the audiences watched it like a comedy show. Xi Qi's warlord only used a combo magic skill as his last attack. Jing Wen Xun was agitated. That move..... Same as that year.....

The opponent KOed, and the game ended. Xie Xi Qi glared over at the blanked opponent before he turned to look at Jing Wen Xun, and walked over with a bright smile.

"Ah Xun, I'm done w-with....!!"

Jing Wen Xun grabbed Xi Qi's waist, and pulled him over abruptly, pasting their lips together as he roguely plunged his tongue in. Xie Xi Qi was surprised, extremely. But he was caught up in the kiss, unable to refuse him. So he put his arms around his neck, and enjoyed the loving affection.

He let Jing Wen Xun kissed him until he was satisfied. While ignoring the eyes of those blinded audiences.

They finally separated themselves after a while. Xie Xi Qi's lips were red from the kiss, simply enticing to see. Jin Wen Xun felt his heart itched for another round, but he knew he should stop for now.

"Thank you....."

...for being alive.

Jing Wen Xun caressed Xie Xi Qi's cheek, finally noticing how the face was so flushed up. Ah, he was embarrassed....so cute. He chuckled. Then grasping his hand once again, he pulled Xie Xi Qi along, and left the V-Arcade.

There was no shared conversation after in between the two, Xie Xi Qi was nervous. Was he dissatisfied or angry? Why is he not saying anything?

"Ah Xun, do you want to.... come over for dinner?"

Jing Wen Xun stopped and looked at Xie Xi Qi. He was actually in thinking of what to do next on their date. He was lost, out of ideas....but Xie Xi Qi's sudden invitation made him smile.

"Good."

Xie Xi Qi took Jing Wen Xun to the supermarket. The refrigerator at home was already emptied out. He need to refill it first.

"Ah Xun, what would you like to eat?"

"Then fried rice.....potato stew..."

"Okay!"

Xie Xi Qi laughed, and they returned to Xi Qi's apartment afterwards. Xie Xi Qi entered the kitchen to cook, while Jing Wen Xun sat in the living room, looking around the apartment. The apartment wasn't too small, large enough for a family to live in, but the decorations and the placing of furniture showed of a bachelor's house. Neat and tidy. Not even a picture was out on display.

Such a large space, he was able to handle the cleaning by himself?

"Xi Qi, where's your bathroom?"

"Ah? It's the third door from the right."

"Alright...."

Jing Wen Xun walked towards the bathroom, passing by a room which the door was opened slightly. He peeked in and found this room to be Xi Qi's bedroom. He closed the door, and moved onwards to the bathroom.

After using the bathroom, he came out after washing his hands. He then noticed the room in the opposite, had a digital lock-system.

This room... Why was there a lock? He was about to approach for a look when Xie Xi Qi's voice startled him.

"What are you doing? If you're done with the bathroom, then come over to eat."

"Oh, coming..."

Jing Wen Xun soon left the apartment after the dinner. He went back to his penthouse, lying on the bed. His thoughts returned to that time in the arcade.

The skills weren't that rare and he knew all the skills his character's have. But out of the combo skills, how did he know of that one?

"Ahh..... Am I getting him and Xie Xi Yu mixed up now??"

"......"

"Xie Xi Yu? Xie Xi Qi?"

Jing Wen Xun stood up and went to open his email on the laptop. He was hesitating to open the file sent to him previously... And finally made his click.

A file of documents and pictures of Xie Xi Yu, all were enclosed to him. Jing Wen Xun slowly go through every of the details.... From the time Xie Xi Yu was young till he passed away. And there was a photo of Xie Xi Qi as well as the picture of the twins holding onto the trophy in M&J Mirrorland's tournament.

"... Xi Qi is Xie Xi Yu's twin brother? Then that night.... I probably mistook him for Xie Xi Yu? What's wrong with me ah....."

Jing Wen Xun face palmed himself. He scrolled and continued to read the file again. It seemed that Xie Xi Qi had left the country quite for a while after his brother passed away. When he returned to the country, he was immediately recruited by M&J.
