His dad is a transvestite?
Being thrown down the stairs in a backflipped by the future father in law was a little too extreme even for Jing Wen Xun. His back didn't hurt as much as his self-esteem. Currently, Jing Wen Xun was kneeling down in a room with the father in law glaring his fiery flames down on him while sitting on the bed with his legs crossed due to the feminine skirt he was wearing.
And Xie Xi Qi was in his own room, with nothing to care as he slept throughout the night in peace.
An hour ago, when Xie Yun Cheng had just arrived at the mansion, he went straight up to the room to rest but on the way up the stairs, he just had to hear his son's voice and saw such a commotion happening to his son where he just jumped straight into the rescue. Who would've thought that this Jing Wen Xun was someone already approved by his ex-wife and the rest of the family and even held the title of Xi Qi's fiance within this mansion? Without a word, he simply grabbed onto Jing Wen Xun's collar and walked straight into his room, leaving a sentence to his only son.
"Sleep by yourself tonight." And the door was locked.
Xie Yun Cheng stood up and walked around the bed, opening his suitcase and grabbed some clothes out. He headed into the bathroom, not forgetting to give Jing Wen Xun a stern glare that gave out the meaning of 'Don't you dare stand up while I'm in the bath'.
At the current timeline, still kneeling with obedience, Jing Wen Xun waited for Xie Yun Cheng who then exited the bathroom, the current he was looking like a handsome young man albeit his real age and the female disguise he was wearing earlier.
"What are you looking at?"
"Nothing. You look so much younger, I thought you were Xi Qi's big brother."
"Steph and I married early, and stop with all the flattering. I'm sure you know how to play MMORPG games. Get in the game. I will acknowledge only those who play better than me in the virtual world." Xie Yun Cheng sat on the bed with dual sets of virtual gaming head devices placed on the bed. When Jing Wen Xun saw the TMO card in his hand, he understood. Standing up and hurrying around to get himself prepared for the game login. That was when he noticed the branded sticker on both the devices.
These head devices were part of the limited beta series for the online game, The Morpheus Online. They were not sold in public and were only available for those who have participated in the A, C, and G Country's beta test versions of the game.
How did he manage to get his hands on these valuables? Was he not just an ex-detective?
"Are we doing cross-server PvP?"
"Sacred Moon Arena in the third district. C server."
"Noted." It was the same server. Jing Wen Xun hurriedly logged into his game account because Xie Yun Cheng had already entered the game seconds ahead of him.
He logged into the game, finding himself in mid of a field. He had forgotten where he had logged off previously. It took him some time to reach the city and moving from there to the third district where the Sacred Moon Arena was at.
The character that was standing there waiting for him was a cleric named YamaKing. He was undeniably stunned to find that Xie Yun Cheng was a cleric user. How was he possibly ever going to win against his own warlord that has more damage output?
"Let's start."
As soon as the timer started, the cleric jumped backward to put more distance in between them.
This will be easy.
He thought so.
But soon only he knew the father of his lover was an unexpected man, just like the son. Jumping away only to create space to dash forward. The cleric had a lesser burden to his weight as he did not have a piece of armor on him. So he had more speed as well. In seconds, he appeared before him with a smirk and the next second before Jing Wen Xun realized it, the cleric's staff landed on his face and he was forced back by the hit.
