Chapter 19 - IRL Meeting

KingAce had fallen. Watching their companion fell in battle the second right after they reached, enraged them.

These despicable players, how loathsome!

His feet kicked the earth, and he flitted forward with quick speed.

{party} Morris : Mr.7!! Don't!

Mr.7 had already dashed to the front, with his blood red sword in hand, he slashed at the thief who dealt King Ace the last blow earlier. One of them, a warrior, parried his sword in hope to bide time for the thief to retreat. But they were too naive.

With a kick and a step in the face of the warrior, Mr.7 made his turn and combo slashes at the thief. Janis, the player they recognized as the head of the enemy team, was a wizard. He tried to trap Mr.7 with his spell, luckily Morris interrupted it with useless weapons and old armors thrown directly on the traps, activating it before it trapped their companion instead.

{nearby} Janis : Shit! Morris! Damn your old game garbage!

{nearby} Morris : Heh. It suits you. T. R. A. S. H.

{nearby} Janis : I'm going to kill you! Linda! Shameless Won! Mozarc! Get him!

{party} Morris : I'll keep them busy. You two go and help Mr.7 out.

Morris activated his invisibility skill. He smirked and rushed into the battle of wits with the three players. Janis turned to look at the rest of them. He clicked his tongue.

How troublesome, this was supposed to be easy to deal with. Where did this warrior come from? Wait, was he a warrior? But why would there be a long case behind him? For his sword?

He silently watched as the thief getting pummeled by Mr.7, H2O and Xiao Yi till his health point all drained down to zero. And the three turned to look at him, instantly marking him as the next. Janis was shocked and he ran away, calling for the remaining three of his team to retreat back to his side for backup.

{nearby} Janis: Argh! Dammit!

He noticed his points quick draining even when he shouldn't be in their attack range, other than Xiao Yi who was a ranger.

Glancing back, his eyes widened in surprise.

{nearby} Janis: This-! He's holding onto a bow?! He's not a warrior? A ranger?! #@$*%!!

An arrow flew at him and struck Janis in the middle of his brows. All he saw was a bright light, right after he received a notification of his 0 health point. He was then transported out of the battlefield.

Morris returned to them with the three players at his tail. He gave them the thumbs up, seeing that they had taken care of the most annoying one.

{party} Morris: Let's finish them up.

With mutual agreement from all, they turned to the remaining three players and immediately bombarded them with spells and arrows.

At the Arena entry where eliminated players would ended up at until the end of battle.

{nearby} KingAce: Hmm~ I wonder how its going inside the battlefield... Will they be shocked finding that I was eliminated right at the start? Oh? Someone's here....

There was a glow, and a figure appeared at the entry. It was the thief that had eliminated him earlier. The two players stared at one another for a while before the thief strike up a conversation with him.

{nearby} Sun Dayi: Sorry about eliminating you earlier. I was hired by Janis to do so. (｡･ω･｡)

{nearby} KingAce: It's alright. I guessed it too. Oh, someone else is here.
