~1 Month Later~
~Lexis P.O.V.~

"I'm starting to dread these family dinners." I said at the bottom of the stairs. "Why. Why do we have to bring Trey." I whined.

"Lexis stop whining. He's our son." That doesn't mean we have to bring him along. He can just stay home or we can put him outside while we eat.

"Aye. Y'all know you love when I'm there. Breezy and Christian are already at Uncle Arlie's so we need to go now." Trey said as he came down with a too self assure smirk.

"August is there too, so he's officially part of the family now?" Ty asked.

"Whoever is at that table tonight, is officially in the family. Nelle are you done?" She had 2 hours to get ready. I don't understand, I only took an hour and a half. "I'm gonna be in the car with the kids."

I grabbed my keys and walked out to the car. One of the boys had Ivanna so I just hopped in the drivers seat and waited.

"What about the dogs?" Ty asked.

"They're outside. Let 'em be, they'll come back when they're hungry. They know we got the food just like how you kids always come back home."

"I come back so I can add onto my cunning skills." Trey said.

"Okay I know when you leave the house. All those nights you thought you snuck out, I already knew." Dumbass.

I can see his car lights from my bed because of the giant ass window that can't be missed when he parks his car. The lights on his car are bright enough to light up all of California.

"The rules are, Varo, Darion, Breezy, and Trey are not allowed to be alone. At all. Like I mean it. My sink still doesn't work right from the last time you two turned up." Arlie said eyeing Breezy and Varo.

"We had a moment. Let it go Arlina." Varo said before walking off to the backyard.

"I didn't want to bring Trey but Nelle made me." I said in my defense.

"That's my God son. He has to come around. AJ reminds me of Shorty's cat. The little shit got about 20 lives it doesn't deserve." Arlie said.

"What?"

"I saw his ass back at his trap when I drove by. Nicole hasn't been acting out of the ordinary like she usually does when she sneaks off with him so I have high hopes."

"You scared he might come after you?" I asked teasingly.

"I'm waiting for him. I sit on my porch with my gun cocked and ready for when he walks up my drive way."

"Aren't you just excited."

"I'ma laugh if Ivanna comes home with some gang member and it turns into an AJ situation." That won't happen because she ain't allowed to date. Ever.

"You're gonna be holding in a laugh till death."

"Do you know why so much shit goes down with us?"

"Well-"

"Really? You're asking that. You're a bunch of sexy thugs all in one gang. I'd wanna fuck with y'all too. I mean that literally and figuratively " Sweet Cheeks said with a roaring laugh.

"God damn Sweets. Always so blunt and bold with your answers. What happened to little Sweets?" Arlie asked as he wrapped his arm around her for a side hug.

"After I got dick, it all changed from there." She said.

"I remember when you had a thing for me Sweets." I said.
