"Quinny, Tom and Olivia will be here any minute." Judy informed Quinn.

Quinn shrugged. "I'm still doing homework."

"Take a break while they're here." Judy commanded.

"My homework is due tomorrow." Quinn reminded Judy. "I can't just put it off because your boyfriend is coming over."

Before Judy could respond, the doorbell rang.

"Quinny!" Judy exclaimed as she opened the door. "It's for you."

Quinn got up and came to the door. She furrowed her eyebrow when she saw Sam standing there. "What are you doing here?"

"I wanted to see you this weekend." Sam stated. "So I could thank you for coming to the football game on Friday."

Quinn nodded. "I told you we're having company today."

"I just figured that I should meet them, you know?" Sam said.

Quinn furrowed her eyebrow. "Why?"

"Because I'm planning on being around for a long time." Sam smiled. "And I wanna know your family."

Quinn smiled slightly at how sweet Sam was. She looked at him. "They're not my family. I don't even know them."

"Well, then we can get to know them together." Sam decided.

Quinn nodded in agreement.

-

"Quinny, can you please set the table?" Judy requested.

"Sure." Quinn said.

"I'll help." Sam replied.

Quinn and Sam grabbed plates, napkins, and cups from the cabinets. They walked into the dining room and started setting five places.

When the doorbell rang, Sam looked at Quinn.

"Quinny! They're here!"

Quinn squeezed Sam's hand.

"It's gonna be great." Sam promised. "And I'm here, and I love you."

"I love you, too." Quinn said softly as she led Sam into the living room.

Quinn watched the two strangers enter her house. They greeted Judy with big smiles and hugs.

"This is my daughter, Quinn." Judy introduced them. "Quinny, this is Tom and Olivia."

Quinn looked at the brunette man standing beside her mom. He was only a few inches taller than Judy.

"N-Nice to meet you." Quinn stuttered after Sam nudged her to respond.

"This is Quinn's boyfriend." Judy added.

"Sam Evans." Sam smiled as he shook Tom's hand.

Quinn looked at Olivia. Olivia was a few inches shorter than Quinn, and had long dirty-blonde hair and glasses.

"It's nice to finally meet you." Olivia smiled at Quinn. "Judy's told us so much about you."

Quinn raised her eyebrow as she turned to her mom.

"Why don't we go sit in the dining room?" Judy suggested. "The pizza will be here soon."

"Sounds great." Tom said.

Quinn and Sam led everyone into the dining room. Sam sat down in his usual seat while Quinn sat in her usual seat beside Beth's high chair, though the high chair was missing.

"So, Olivia, you're gonna transfer to McKinley when you move in, right?" Sam asked.

Olivia nodded. "I'm a sophomore right now."

"Me, too." Sam grinned. "Quinn's a junior."

Olivia looked at Quinn.

Quinn nodded.

"Are you in any clubs?" Olivia questioned Quinn.

Assuming Olivia was talking to him, Sam continued. "We're both in glee club, and I'm on the football team."

"What position do you play?" Tom wondered.

"Quarterback." Quinn smiled proudly. "But Finn is our starting quarterback."

"Who's Finn?" Olivia asked.

"Quinn's ex." Sam answered.

Quinn rolled her eyes.

Olivia glanced at Judy and Tom before turning back to Quinn and Sam. "So how'd you two get involved in glee club? It's really cool that you can sing."

"I joined last year after Finn joined." Quinn responded. "When we were dating. He's the male lead."

"And I joined when I moved here because Finn convinced me to." Sam added as he took Quinn's hand. "We've basically been together since we sang our first duet."

"Yeah." Quinn nodded. "Honestly, I'm more of a dancer, but I love singing."

"You should join the club." Sam told Olivia.

Quinn kicked Sam's leg under the table and gave him a look.

Olivia noticed and nodded slowly.

Luckily, the doorbell rang and the pizza arrived.
