"The baby's crying." Sam said softly as he nudged Quinn.

Quinn groaned as she sat up. "Thanks, Sam."

"You're welcome." Sam responded as he laid back down.

Quinn got out of bed and picked Beth up. She changed Beth's diaper and gave her a pacifier.

Quinn cradled the screaming baby and gently bounced her up and down to calm her down.

When Beth calmed down, Quinn put her back in her crib and crawled into bed next to Sam.

"Sam?" Quinn whispered.

"Hmm?" Sam muttered.

"Are you awake? Can I talk to you about something?" Quinn questioned Sam.

"Yeah." Sam said.

Quinn looked at Sam, who had his eyes closed. "I took Beth to see her grandmother yesterday. Puck's mom."

Sam opened his eyes and looked at Quinn. "Why?"

"Just because Puck is an idiot doesn't mean his mom shouldn't get to know her granddaughter." Quinn stated. "And Beth only has two grandparents. I'd like for her to know both of her grandmas."

Sam nodded slowly.

"I'm gonna talk to Puck." Quinn decided. "And figure something out because I want Beth to have him, too."

"Really?" Sam asked.

"She deserves to have a father. Her father." Quinn added. "And she makes Puck a better person."

"I wanna be here when he's with you." Sam told Quinn.

"I don't know when I'll let him see Beth, but I need to talk to him about it." Quinn said. "Which I would prefer to do privately."

Sam furrowed his eyebrow.

"Puck and I went through a lot last year." Quinn reminded Sam. "You don't know all of it."

"Alright." Sam said.

"Okay." Quinn replied.

Sam looked at her.

"I'm gonna start getting ready for school." Quinn decided. "Keep an eye on Beth while I shower?"

"Sure." Sam nodded as he kissed Quinn. "I love you."
