Quinn put her phone away as Sam walked in and smiled nervously. "You showed up."

"You're surprised?" Sam asked.

Quinn shrugged. "You haven't been yourself lately."

"Is that what you wanted to talk about?" Sam wondered.

"Yeah." Quinn said as she looked at Sam. "I don't know what you're going through, but you've been acting different."

Sam furrowed his eyebrow.

"You were the sweetest." Quinn reminded Sam.

"I talked to Figgins this morning." Sam said.

"That's why Puck got called out of Spanish class." Quinn responded.

Sam nodded.

Quinn frowned. "I'm disappointed in you, Sam."

"I'm sorry." Sam apologized. "Things haven't been great and I've been taking my anger out on the wrong people."

"What's going on?" Quinn asked.

Sam shrugged. "Besides everything my family's going through, stuff with you. I love you, and the second he came back, it was like I didn't exist anymore."

"That's not true." Quinn shook her head.

"You're different with him." Sam continued. "And maybe he's right. Maybe he can give you more than I can."

Quinn frowned. "It's not about money."

"I know." Sam said.

"You've been scaring me, Sam." Quinn admitted. "These past few weeks, I've been so afraid of you."

Sam bit his lip. "I should've treated you better."

Quinn took a deep breath as she went through her bag and took out the promise ring. She placed it in Sam's hand. "We're officially breaking up. I'm not taking no for an answer."

"I know." Sam nodded. "I'm sorry."

"I know." Quinn nodded back. She slowly leaned forward and kissed Sam's cheek. "Bye, Sam."

"Bye, Quinn."
