When Quinn got to the game, her phone went off. She grabbed her phone and froze when she saw Ruth had texted back.
You & Beth are welcome to come over whenever you want. Noah went to the football game.
Quinn bit her lip as she typed back.
We're actually not gonna make it tonight, but I'll try to stop by tomorrow
Okay, let me know. Have a good night
You too
Quinn grabbed her purse and got out of the car. She locked her car and looked at her phone as she walked to the bleachers Sam told her to sit on.
"Quinn!" Rachel exclaimed as she tapped the bench. "Come sit here!"
"Thanks." Quinn muttered as she walked past Santana and Brittany, who were wearing jerseys over their Cheerios uniforms.
"Nice jersey." Santana said.
Quinn furrowed her eyebrow at Santana's jersey. "Noah's been back for, like, a day and you're already sleeping with him. Classy."
"I'm sorry, weren't you the one who had his baby last year?" Santana retorted.
"Ignore her." Rachel said softly. "As soon as the game starts, she'll have to go inside to warm up with the Cheerios."
Quinn nodded as she watched the boys practice on the field. Sam wasn't the starting quarterback, but he was warming up with Mike.
Quinn's heart stopped when she saw Puck warming up with Finn.
"Did you know he was coming back?" Quinn blurted as she looked at Rachel. "I mean, before Mr. Schue told us."
Rachel bit her lip. "Finn knew, but we didn't know he wasn't coming back to glee club."
Quinn nodded slowly.
"Finn was planning on telling you." Rachel explained. "I guess he forgot."
"Yeah." Quinn agreed.
"Enjoy the game." Santana smirked as she and Brittany got up and walked away.
"You two used to be best friends." Rachel noted.
"Used to be." Quinn repeated. "Until she went after my boyfriend."
"Have you talked to him since...?" Rachel wondered.
Quinn shook her head as she stood up. "I'm gonna go say hi to Sam. Save my seat?"
Before Rachel could answer, Quinn walked away.
Quinn went inside and used the bathroom. After she washed her hands, she walked out and started walking back outside.
"Quinn."
Quinn slowly turned around and smiled at Finn and Sam. "Hey, guys."
"I didn't know you were coming." Finn smiled.
Quinn nodded as she greeted Sam. "Yeah, I wanted to be here for Sam."
"Is Beth here?" Finn wondered.
Quinn shook her head. "My mom's watching her. She said I deserve a night off where I can just be a teenager. Honestly, I don't even know what that means anymore."
Finn nodded. "Well, you should come to the victory party after the game, if you can."
"You're on a losing streak. What makes you so sure you're gonna win?" Quinn grinned.
"Hey, assholes!"
Quinn's smile faded as Puck approached the trio.
"Oh, hey, Q. Miss me?" Puck grinned.
"Leave her alone." Sam warned as he put his arm around Quinn.
"Calm down, Evans." Puck muttered. "Me and Quinn are friends."
Quinn scoffed. "Right."
"Anyway." Puck said as he looked at Finn. "Beiste told me to come find you. We're about to go outside and she wanted you to lead everyone out."
Finn nodded. "Alright. We'll see you after the game, Quinn. Thanks for coming."
Quinn smiled at Finn as he and Puck walked away.
"I'm really glad you're here." Sam said as he kissed Quinn.
"Me, too." Quinn agreed when they parted. "I'll see you after the game, okay?"
Sam nodded and kissed Quinn again before running after Finn and Puck.
When Sam was gone, Quinn headed back outside.
