"I can't have lunch today." Quinn told Sam when he approached her locker. "I'm working on some assignments with Mr. Schue."
Sam frowned. "Really?"
Quinn nodded. "I have to keep my GPA up if I'm ever gonna get out of Lima."
"Alright." Sam sighed.
"I'll see you in glee club." Quinn responded as she kissed Sam lightly before heading to the Spanish room.
Puck was already in the classroom waiting for Mr. Schue.
"Hey." Quinn said softly.
"Hey." Puck responded.
"I wanna talk to you." Quinn blurted. "When you finish your test, go to the choir room."
Puck nodded slowly. "Okay."
"Don't fail it." Quinn teased.
"I'll do my best." Puck promised as Mr. Schue walked in.
"Hey, guys." Mr. Schue said. "Have a seat. Puck, I have the test for you. Buena suerte. You can use the whole period if you need it."
Puck nodded as he took the test and got to work.
Mr. Schue pulled a desk over to Quinn and sat down beside her.
"How are you doing?"
"Good." Quinn nodded. "I have all of the worksheets and homeworks I owe you."
"Great, thank you." Mr. Schue responded as he took the folder of papers from Quinn.
"And I'll take the test next week." Quinn stated. "During lunch one day?"
Mr. Schue nodded. "If it's more convenient for you, you can bring it home and take it as a take-home test."
"That would be great, actually." Quinn said. "Do you have it with you now?"
"Yes." Mr. Schue answered as he stood up and went back to his desk. He dug through his bag and pulled out a stapled packet. "Here you go."
"Thank you." Quinn said as she looked at the paper.
"Since you finished your other assignments, why don't you start this now?" Mr. Schue suggested. "I'll start grading things, and you can ask me questions about the test if you have any."
"Sure, thanks." Quinn nodded as she filled out her name and date on the top of the test. She carefully read the page and answered the multiple-choice questions in the first section.
After the reading comprehension section, there was a writing comprehension section. Quinn did her best to translate the questions from Spanish to English, so she could answer them.
The third section of the test was simple conjugations, which Quinn answered with confidence.
When she finished the conjugations, Quinn worked on sentence and word translations.
"Mr. Schue."
"Yes, Quinn?" Mr. Schue looked at the blonde.
"There's a listening section. Am I supposed to do that on my own?" Quinn asked.
Mr. Schue shook his head. "Skip it until Puck's ready. No rush, Puck."
Puck nodded slowly.
Quinn worked on the final section, which was more writing. When she was ready for the listening, she sat silently and watched Puck, who was looking at the test with wide eyes.
Puck struggled in school, and Quinn always felt bad about it. Especially because she knew he was very smart, just in a different way.
"I'm ready for the listening part."
