When they got to Breadstix, the four friends were seated at a booth. Puck sat on the inside, and Quinn sat beside him. Artie sat across from Quinn, and Olivia sat across from Puck.

"So Beth learned a new word." Quinn told Puck.

"She did?" Puck asked. "What'd she say?"

"Don't get mad." Quinn requested.

Puck raised his eyebrow.

"She said fuck." Quinn informed Puck as she glanced at Artie and Olivia.

"Where'd she hear that?" Puck wondered.

Quinn shrugged.

Puck smiled slightly as he shook his head. "She's definitely a Fabray."

Quinn grinned as she leaned her head against Puck's arm and looked at Artie and Olivia.

"You know, we've all come so far." Quinn realized. "Puck and Artie weren't even friends last year."

"Yeah." Artie nodded as he looked at Olivia. "He locked me in a portapotty last year, and he wanted to flip it."

Olivia raised her eyebrow and looked at Puck.

"Not one of my best ideas." Puck muttered sheepishly.

"It's a good thing we can laugh about it now." Artie smiled. "Last year was..."

"Horrible." Quinn finished as she squeezed Puck's hand. "But things are much better this year."

Olivia nodded. "I'm excited for Regionals. I've never been a part of a club like glee club before."

"It's gonna be great." Artie agreed.

"What songs did you guys do last year?" Olivia wondered.

Puck looked at Artie. "Artie, why don't you tell Liv about Sectionals last year?"

Artie nodded. "Sectionals was the worst."

"What happened?" Olivia asked.

"Coach Sylvester leaked our setlist, so we were there with no setlist, no Finn, and no Mr. Schue." Artie began.

"Why weren't Finn and Mr. Schue there?" Olivia wondered.

"We did a commercial and Mr. Schue slept on one of the mattresses we got paid with, which meant he couldn't come." Artie explained. "And Finn was mad at Quinn and Puck, so he didn't come. We were all freaking out."

Puck nodded. "Then Finn showed up with a new setlist and we put together some choreography and we somehow won."

"Well, that's good." Olivia smiled. "Especially since you guys had to do everything last minute. What songs did you perform?"

"Rachel sang Don't Rain On My Parade, and we all did You Can't Always Get What You Want." Quinn answered.

"And you went on to Regionals, right?" Olivia asked.

"We did a Journey medley for Regionals." Puck said, rolling his eyes.

"You had a solo." Quinn reminded him. "Actually, you had two."

Puck raised his eyebrow. "You remember that?"

"Of course I remember that." Quinn nodded as she started singing. "I was alone, I never knew, what good love could do."

Puck smiled slightly. "And what was the other one?"

"A singer in a smoky room." Quinn answered. "And then you sang with Santana."

Puck smiled proudly and nodded. "Good memory."

"Did you guys win?" Olivia wondered.

Quinn, Puck, and Artie looked at each other and shook their heads.

"Noah and I weren't even there for the announcements." Quinn answered.

"Because someone decided she wanted to have a baby that day." Puck teased.

"Beth was born after Regionals?" Olivia asked.

Puck nodded. "We came off the stage after our performance and Quinn's water broke, so I drove her and her mom to the hospital, and everyone else took the bus there."

"I think it was all the dancing." Quinn admitted. "Because I woke up that morning and I had a feeling it was gonna happen, but I didn't say anything. Not even to Noah."

"Yeah, you drove me crazy." Puck stated as he looked at Olivia. "I kept asking her how she felt and she told me to stop asking and insisted she was fine."

Quinn smiled slightly. "Beth was born less than twenty minutes after our performance."

"I think Rachel was the only one who stayed for Vocal Adrenaline's performance." Artie added. "The rest of us went back after Beth was born. And Quinn and Puck stayed at the hospital."

Olivia nodded. "It sounds like you guys had a very busy year last year."

"Definitely." The trio agreed.

"What was your old school like?" Artie wondered.
