"You're lying." Quinn shook her head.
"I'm not." Puck said. "I hurt you enough last year. You really thought I would cheat on you, too?"
"This is the problem with you, Puck. I can never tell if you're lying or not." Quinn sighed.
"I told Santana I was gonna talk to you about the apartment and making everything work for Beth, and she told me I was being stupid." Puck explained. "She said there was no way you would wanna be with me."
"I did." Quinn stated.
"Santana didn't think so." Puck repeated. "She told me that I should stop trying with you, and then she kissed me, and I pushed her off and left the classroom."
"I wanted to be with you and you threw it all away." Quinn informed Puck.
"I kept thinking about what Santana said, and then I did all that stupid stuff and ended up in juvie." Puck said.
"Why?" Quinn asked. "Why'd you let me hate you?"
"Because as much as I wanted to be with you and do the whole parenting thing with you, I knew you deserved better than me." Puck answered.
Quinn bit her lip.
"You deserved someone like Finn or Sam." Puck clarified. "Good guys."
"If Sam's such a good guy, why'd you kick his ass?" Quinn wondered, holding back a smile.
"He deserved it." Puck said. "He told me that it was inappropriate for me to give you money for Beth. And just so you know, he threw the first punch."
Quinn frowned. "I want the two of you to get along."
"Does that mean you're not mad at me anymore?" Puck asked.
"I'm not mad." Quinn shook her head.
Puck smiled. "Cool."
"Can we make an agreement?" Quinn requested.
Puck raised his eyebrow.
"Let's both stay away from Santana." Quinn said.
Puck laughed lightly. "You got it."
