Quinn felt sweat begin to pile in the palm of her hand that she had clenched at her side so tightly she feared at any moment her hand would break, her eyes moving anxiously towards Morgan and Lena and the smug grin that Kara portrayed as she held the witch closer to her, her eyes straying down to the very revealing cleavage.
Damn Kara you really took her shopping, where did you put the rest of her outfit.
Quinn caught her own eyes straying downward into the plush luscious visions of loveliness that were Morgan's breasts, caught up in the sight she didn't see Ava turn an exasperated glare on her, not until she felt someone kick her leg hard, very hard.
"Owe what the fuck!" She shouted loudly crouching down to cradle her knee in her hands.
" Teach you to keep your eyes in your head. " Ava whispered close to her ear.
Quinn glared across at her resenting her a tiny bit she hadn't had her view of those boobs.
"Kara, are you going to introduce us to your friend?" Lena cut through the silence her intended lingering of the final word made Quinn's ears pick up, suddenly the dull pain of Ava's attack wasn't as important, she stood back to her full height her anxious gaze pinned on Kara as she held her breath waiting for her reply.
Come on Kara say something.
"This is Morgan she...she and I are dating." Kara smiled proudly.
OMFG, she really said it!
Everyone around them fell into silence Ava turned her gaze to her accusing her with her eyes of something even if she had no idea what had truly happened, Quinn shrunk back slightly needing a way to change the subject get them to stop looking at her.
"Err......have you by any chance ever come across a positively delightful little cafe in the backstreets of Skyros it's been run by the same family for nearly one hundred and twenty years, it's a wonderful place I check in every now and then I've met every owner so if you are ever in Skyros you should really go..."
" Are you finished? " Ava asked sarcastically.
"Well, I was just saying that it's overlooked and it needs to be told and tha...."
" You're dating. " Lena suddenly asked ignoring Quinn and Ava's distraction, her eyes searching for an answer something that she could make sense of.
"Yes." Kara smiled squeezing the arm of the woman next to her lovingly, the woman turned to glare her green eyes so like the woman who sat in front of her yet there was no softness to her orbs, instead, a harsh edge of loneliness lay hidden there.
A silence stretched between them again, Quinn felt her heart pounded rapidly not knowing what she could do or say to break the awkwardness.
"They are famous for having the most beautiful food, omg you have never eaten Dolma unless you have had it here it is glorious, and the Spanakopita is simply sublime, then when you've eaten just walk through the ancient alleyway following the uneaven and eroded pathway worn away by hundreds of years of feet walking the same simple pathway, you come out to the most wondrous view of the sea, it's like you have gone back in time and expect to find Achilles and Ajax wash up on the shore on their way back from Troy."
Everyone's eyes were fixed on her she'd managed to get everyone's attention off the obvious how much Morgan looked like Lena, but she'd managed to make everyone think she had left her job as a time agent and taken up a job as a travel agent.
Lena's eyes turned back slowly to the women who stood before her, shed spent so long telling herself her little crush was one-sided and then one day, when she had moved on Kara, comes along with a woman who looked just like her and declared they were dating.
