"Maine Megha ko waha-"
Before she says anything further, a big ass coconut from the tree above her comes and falls right on her head.
Fuck!
She collapses on the ground and passes out.
FUCK!
"Aslesha! Hey can you hear me? Aslesha?" I ask and cradle her on my lap.
"You said my name. Finally" she whispers with her eyes closed.
"You're so so stupid. Open your eyes please. Mai aur sau baar tumhara naam lunga. Dekho. Aslesha Aslesha Aslesha Aslesha Aashi! Wake up! Talk to me" I say and start shaking her but she doesn't say anything at all.
She has really passed out now.
I touch her head to see if there are any signs of blood. "Sorry sorry" I say when she groans in pain. There's a bump forming on that spot but no blood. That's good.
Andar le jaana sahi nahi hai. Hospital hi jaana padega. I lift her up in my arms and start walking towards my car.
"Aslesha, oh god. Please say something. I'm shitting my pants here" I say and somehow remove the keys from my pocket. Thank God she's so light warna it would have been impossible.
I carefully tuck her inside and make her sit on the passenger seat as my eyes move over her delicate form. I remove my jacket and put it on her and then put on the seatbelt. I do the same and start driving the car like my ass is on fire. It's late night so the roads are thankfully empty.
What was she going to tell me? This night is driving me crazy. Jab party me aaya tab Neel yaha tha and his hands were all over her. The image of them hugging each other tightly flashes in my inner eye.
Ugh I hate it when he touches her. I hate when anybody touches her.
"Aslesha. Open your eyes!" I say again and she doesn't respond again.
I run my hands through my hair and look at her. "Tum hamesha mujhe pareshaan kyu karti ho ha? Achha lagta hai mujhe aise pareshaan dekhne? Tumhare liye pareshaan dekhne?" I say and sigh knowing that she isn't hearing me.
When the car stops on a signal I drop a message to Rudra telling him that I and Aslesha have left.
When I reach the hospital I pick her up in my arms again and everyone around us stops whatever they're doing and looks at us. Some remove their phones as I hear some whispers.
Fucking idiots!
"Hello? I need a doctor here! Sab so gaye kya?" I call out and everyone starts rushing here and there like maine pause ke baad play ka button dabaya. One of them brings a stretcher and I'm skeptical whether to let her go.
"Aslesha?" an elderly woman comes rushing towards us when she sees us. When she sees Aslesha actually. She's wearing a white coat so I presume she's a doctor.
How does she know her?
"Kya hua?" she asks making me put her down on the stretcher as she tells the helper to follow her.
"Sambhal ke" I say thinking about taking her hand in mine but decide against it. That's when the doctor sees me. She is initially shocked but composes herself and puts on her professional mask back on.
"Kya hua?" She repeats the question again.
"A coconut fell on her head and she passed out" I answer. She frowns and nods.
"And you are her..?"
"Friend" I tell her.
We reach her cabin and I see the name plate on the door.
