Chaar saal ho gaye. Chaar saal ho gaye mere aur Viraj ke shaadi ko aaj. Aur 52 months ho gaye Pari aur Rudra ke shaadi ko where he proposed me.

And I'm just as much in love with Viraj as I was on the day when he let me ride his bike for the first time. More so now.

I sit in the balcony overlooking the sea remembering when I'd told him the truth about my tumor and the reason I did what I did.

We both had cried so much that day. But it was like the start of something new. More concrete and solid.

Now that I think of it, I feel stupid that I broke up with him like that. Young and dumb. But I guess I was just madly in love with him to do such a thing.

Viraj aaj uske tour se wapas aa raha hai from Australia where he had his matches. We've promised each other ke life kitni bhi busy ho jaaye hum anniversary saath me hi manaayenge.

Last year when he couldn't be in India because he had to be in West Indies for the match, I flew there to surprise him.

I guess he was more shocked than when he saw me dancing for the first time.

Ahh the good old days..

Whenever we get a break we come to our beach house on this island. I love it here.

Mumbai me paparazzi jaan kha jaate hai. Indian cricket team ke captain ki wife hona koi halwa thodi hai.

Yes. Viraj is now the captain. And I'm so so proud of him. From cheering for him in our college ground to cheering for him in big stadiums, we've come a long way.

And me.. I don't work in a restaurant anymore. I do a cooking TV show. Which is named... Wait for it... Clean Bowled.

Lekin Aslesha Mathur, tumne mere dil ko Clean Bowled kar diya hai. And I'm happy ke meri wicket tumne li.

Those words echo in my head and I smile. That proposal was so dreamy. Everything about Viraj is dreamy.

And somehow the term 'clean bowled' has a linked meaning to food. Bowl means a katori and so.. Clean Bowled.

Maine kabhi imagine bhi nahi kiya tha ke I would be doing something like that but it's even better. I reach a wider audience for whom I don't personally make food but just teach them. My show airs twice a week so it's not like I'm always out and working.

I also teach kathak twice a week to kids and have my own dance studio.

Viraj aur mujhe paiso ki kami nahi hai but that's not something we like to brag about.

We try to live as normally people as possible even though we both have thousands of followers on social media. He has millions.

We also have fan pages and people lovingly call our jodi 'Viresha'. I find it really endearing. I have followed some and I love their edits and posts.

In Mumbai, we have a nice little house in the outskirts of the city. City ke centre me do logo ke liye paanch kamro ka ghar lene me koi matlab nahi.

So I had urged Viraj for a quaint little place in the outskirts. He was a little against it but aakhir me I won.

Bahar humari life chaahe kitni bhi glamorous ho, but ghar me we're simply Viraj and Aslesha.

We fight over chores and stupid stuff as usual. Jaise movie night ke liye kiske pasand ki movie dekhenge, kaam wali maasi nahi aati tab kon bartan dhoyega, whose turn is it to give the other person a massage.
