"RISE AND SHINE! Time to make our comeback to the classroom!"
Jinyoung groaned at the sound of his morning alarm a.k.a. Mark.
Jaebum.
He turned around to see that the other bed was empty.
It looked like it had never been touched.
The light coming from the windows hit his eyes and suddenly he was awake.
"Man, you look like shit." Mark deadpanned.
"Thanks." Jinyoung rolled his eyes.
"Hey, did you ever meet your new roommate?" Mark looked around as if he missed the presence of another human when he came in screaming.
"Uh... about that." Jinyoung sat up in bed and leaned against the headboard rubbing his eyes.
"What about it?" Mark placed his hand on his hip waiting for the sleepy man to continue.
"Last night, I came in and it was... Jaebum."
"IM SORRY WHAT!?" Mark's eyes widened.
"H-he... He told me to stay out of his w-way..." Jinyoung bit his lip to keep himself from sobbing as tears already started flowing down his cheeks.
"Oh my God..." Mark ran to hug his best friend, letting him bury his face in his chest.
"I'm n-not sure if he even remembers m-me or not. I-I mean, if I remembered h-him so easily, he should b-be able to as w-well." Jinyoung sobbed.
"It's ok Jinyoung. You've gone ten years without him, I'm sure you can go longer." Mark said patting his back as he cried.
"You're right." Jinyoung sniffled. He got up from the bed and got out some clothes for school.
"He's an asshole now anyways... I should just forget about him."

The school day went on pretty slowly.
Jinyoung stayed attentive and made sure he wrote down plenty of notes to understand his lessons fully.
But something felt... off.
He couldn't put his finger on it, but something didn't feel right.
Although he had this feeling, he just shrugged it off and went on with his day.

"JINYOUNGGGGG!"
He sighed.
It's my human alarm clock.
Mark stood at the doorway waving his hand aggressively and smiled.
Jinyoung gathered his things and went to greet his best friend.
"GUESS WHAT." Mark practically screamed with wide eyes.
"What?" The other asked nonchalantly.
"Jackson Wang, THE Jackson Wang talked to me today." Mark squealed.
"Okay and?" Jinyoung raised an eyebrow.
"Aaaand he's in one of my classes and sat next to me. We talked almost the whole class period."
"You didn't get called out by your professor?"
"Oh please, our professor doesn't give a flying fuck about us." Mark waved his hand dismissively.
Jinyoung laughed at that.
Mark had always been a trouble maker, and throughout all his years, he still hasn't changed.
