It had been days after their first night tangled in the sheets.

Jinyoung just woke up from his nap, thoughts immediately going to Jaebum.

He didn't know where the latter was, but his stomach was rumbling, so he decided to get food.

Jinyoung treaded downstairs, the wet, dewy outdoors on display through the windows.

The aftermath of the soft rain left a kind of quiet feeling in Jinyoung, like the sound of the droplets hitting the roof gently said everything for him.

He went into the kitchen and straight to the refrigerator to find something to eat.

The door of the cold box opened silently and Jinyoung was met with nearly empty shelves and compartments.

I need to get groceries.

Just then, Jinyoung was reminded of the past few days with Jaebum.

They stayed in the house unless Jinyoung had classes, in which they would go together.

Jaebum always stood close to Jinyoung, personal space not being an option.

At the time, Jaebum became very possesive of his lover, but Jinyoung didn't mind. After all, dangerous people were lurking, and he knew Jaebum only thought about his safety.

"Did you just wake up?"

That voice was enough to snap Jinyoung out of his thoughts and turn around.

Mark stood in the entrance of the kitchen, a barely noticable smile on his face.

"Yea, where's Jaebum?" Jinyoung asked.

"He left a while ago." Mark replied.

Jinyoung turned back to the refrigerator and frowned.

"I need to get groceries." He mumbled.

"You're right. I'll go with you. Jaebum would kill me if you went alone." Mark said.

Jinyoung turned back and began walking towards Mark.

He didn't know what washed over him.

Maybe it was the rainy day, but whatever it was, it had Jinyoung wrapping his arms around his best friend.

Mark was surprised by the sudden contact, but gave into the warm embrace.

"Are you ok?" He asked in a soothing voice.

"I'm ok."

The two best friends walked down the street, but even with Mark by his side, Jinyoung was hesitant and cautious.

It seemed a little darker in the streets of Seoul, even though it was about midday.

It was gloomy, a result in the rain and clouds set upon the people of the street.

Between them was a silence. It wasn't awkward, but a mere comfortable silence.

As they walked, the clouds cleared up and the sun came out.

Jinyoung thought it was a sign something good would happen.

What he didn't know, was that he thought wrong.

He looked to a familiar alleyway he had gone through when he lived at the dorm; a shortcut he used to get to the store quicker.

"Hey, let's go this way." Jinyoung told Mark.

Mark hummed in response and followed the other, although he was a bit skeptical of this suspicious place.

Jinyoung led them into the dark alley.
