The house was silent.

Everyone had left with busy schedules except for Jaebum, who was getting lunch for him and his baby.

Jinyoung was laying on his bed, patiently waiting for his lover.

He began to overthink things about Jaebum.

What exactly did he do in Thailand?

Why did his friend get killed?

Why are those people still coming after him?

Despite planning to marry the man, he still didn't know everything about him.

There were alot of missing pages in the story, and alot of blank ones too.

Even so, Jinyoung was still determined to learn everything about Jaebum, even the worst thing he had ever done.

Suddenly, his phone vibrated and he turned over to grab it.

Jinyoung smiled and began playing on his phone to pass the time.

Five minutes passed in no time, and as if on cue, the doorbell rang.

Yes, Jaebum made the younger lock the door for safety reasons.

Jinyoung threw his phone somewhere on the bed and ran downstairs to greet the older.

Once he reached the front door he looked through the peephole to make sure Jaebum was outside.

Huh?

He was confused when he saw nobody at the door.

Slowly, Jinyoung opened the door and peeked his head out.

He looked around and found that, indeed, nobody was there.

The day was calm and streets were unbothered.

Not a sound was made except the steady flow of the wind.

He pulled back and closed the door hesitantly, confused as ever.

Suddenly he felt someone grab him from behind covering his mouth as his eyes went wide.

His arms were restrained behind him and he felt a stinging sensation in his neck.

Then it all went black.

"Babe!"

Jaebum had knocked on the door and Jinyoung still hadn't answered.

He must be asleep.

He pulled out his phone and tried calling him, but there was no answer.

He pulled out a key from his pocket and went to unlock the door, but it seemed to already be unlocked.

Hesitantly, his hand turned the door knob, and something felt off.

Jaebum quickly pushed open the door with a nervous feeling in his chest, as well as his heart pounding.

"Jinyoung!?"

He put down their lunch on the small table that was against the wall of the foyer and began to look around the house.

The house was dead silent, and Jaebum felt the eerie atmosphere.

In a split second, he ran up the stairs and into his room.
