After getting ready, we all head out to the mall.
"(Y/n) what do you want to get while we're here?" Kitty asks.
We were currently at one of Kitty's favourite stores, H&M. I admit they had some pretty cool clothes but I honestly wouldn't have bought any of this by myself. Both Kitty and Jean have tried to get me to try on some clothes but not anything I would actually wear.
The boys and Rogue were at the food court just outside. I kept smelling soft pretzels and honestly eating something sounds more appealing than going clothes shopping.
"How about this (Y/n)?" I hear from my left snapping me out of my thoughts.
I turn to see Jean holding up a black sweatshirt that was pretty much plain except for a red rose in the center. The rose was pretty small but noticeable. I admit this was honestly pretty cool.
"I like it! I'll try it on."
After trying it on, I realize it's kind of a cropped sweatshirt but it doesn't show any skin.
Once I finished browsing, I decide to buy the sweatshirt and some ripped jeans that would go well with it.
"Jean and I aren't finished shopping yet but you can go ahead and meet up with the rest of the guys at the food court. I can tell by the look on your face that you are pretty hungry." Kitty laughs. "If you end up getting something from the soft pretzel stand can you get me pretzel bites too? I'll pay you back." Kitty also asks.
"Sure! I was already planning to head over there," I laugh, "I've been smelling the fresh pretzels and have been craving them ever since."
"Me too! See ya there then!"
"See ya!" I say walking away.
After getting both Kitty and I pretzels, I head over to the table the rest of the group picked.
"Hey guys." I say sitting down next to Scott and an open seat.
"Hey, what'd you get?" Rogue asks.
"Just a sweatshirt and jeans." I tell her showing her what I got.
"Oh! I know just the place to get boots that would go really well with that outfit. We can head over there afterwards if you want." Rogue suggests.
"Sure! I need to get some new boots anyways." I smile.
As I start eating, my phone starts to buzz. I ignore it but it keeps buzzing.
"Who's Jason?" Scott asks. "He keeps texting you."
I look up from my food and over to my phone to see that Jason had sent me a couple of texts.
"He's an old friend from back home. The only one actually." I laugh.
"Oh, okay." Scott says looking down.
I look at my phone once again to read the texts.
Jason: Guess who's coming
to visit you!
Jason: Guess!
Jason: Ah! You caught
me! I am!
Jason: During Winter Break
your dad and I decided
to visit you for a
couple of days!
Me: oh! that's great!
Me: Which days are you
planning to come over?
Jason: probably the
weekend after Christmas.
Jason: sorry you and your
dad can't be together during Christmas
