everlene and alison walked through the halls gaining stares from mostly everyone.though alison didn't care, she still could wipe this stupid smile from her face since saturday.
and everlene was too busy worrying about after school where she would have to spend the afternoon with a certain wyatt oleff.
inaudible whispers filled the hallway and buzzed through everyone's ears, eyes glued to alison like cheap wallpaper.
a few people came up and asked if she was alright, she answer yes everytime, a little to happily.
everlene was deeply confused by her happiness, she knew alison was a fighter but never imagined her to be this happy after what happened on friday. she knew something was off but she didn't want to say anything, incase it would ruin her happy demeanor.
"i'll see you after school for the play, okay?" ev began to walk off to roll call.
"okay." alison responded continuing down the long hallway.
ali stared along the rows of blue lockers before her eyes wandered to a familiar head of brown curly hair.
she couldn't help but smile, her bottom lip slipping in between her teeth.
"hey!" tom called out to her.
"hi, tom." she faced the brown eyed boy.
"so about us..." he said and ali felt her heart drop.
"what are we tom?" she asked.
"well about that... i like you. i really, really like you. but everlene can't know about us...this... whatever." he stumbled on his words a bit.
"i've never kept a secret from her before, tom. i've wanted to tell her all morning but i know i can't it will only hurt her."
"i know" he said and looked down at the petite girl in front of him.
"so..?" she looked at him for answers, searching deep into his brown orbs.
"so, just at least let me have this." it only took him a second before her took her head in his hands and brought there lips together.
neither of them wanted to stop, but they had to.
and that's when alison really couldn't help but smile, she smiled so much her cheeks began to ache but she just couldn't stop.
so when she walked into roll call with her bright white pearls showing and blushed red cheeks she gained strange looks from all her peers that had heard about friday's mishap.
she didn't care though, all she could think about was tom. the feeling of his lips against hers, the way his voice softened when he spoke to her.
everything about him was perfect to alison.
so when the end of the day rolled around and she was on her way to the theater room she tried her best to keep cool, not wanting to raise any suspicions for her best friend.
but little did she know it was too late.
ah and we're back to the comfort of the ridiculously short chapters.
bet it feels nice.
see you in the next chapter <3
