tuesday afternoon
the old bowling alley was one of the two places ev and ali could go to get away from everything, the other being the treehouse in the back of alison's suburban home.
something about the dingy metal seats, slightly dinted bowling balls, scratched up wood lanes, neon flashing lights and overwhelming smell of corn dogs and out of date jelly beans calmed them.
they knew the staff well and would come there on a regular basis, typically they were one of the few people in there so you could imagine their surprise when they saw other bikes parked in the bike rack against the brick wall that had faced more then just graffiti.
as the girls walked in they were greeted by haley, a girl their age that alison seemed to have grown a strong liking to, and the three of them would even hang out occasionally, though she was homeschooled and they wouldn't see much of her except for when they came in on her shift.
"hey girls!" she said with a nod and a bright smile handing them their bowling shoes.
"lane 7?" ev asked, though she didn't need to, haley already knew that was their favorite lane and saved it for them.
"yep go right a head" she said with a wink and danced a bit to the same pop music that played on loop there.
"thanks!" ali giggled a bit at her actions.
"just be careful, there is some rude people at lane 6, they came in laughing obnoxiously and making some rude comments and stuff." haley rolled her eyes and shook her head.
"that sucks, welp thanks talk to you later." ev smiled brightly as they slipped on their shoes.
as the girls turned the corner they turned pale at the sight of none other than wyatt oleff and his group of friends.
"well hello ladies" he let out a chuckle that would make anyone's knees go weak, seeing as he was quite the lady killer, but that's another story.
everlene's bottom lip slipped in between her teeth as she picked up the 7 pound pink bowling ball that sat on the rack as she attempted to ignore the curly haired pest.
"you're not gonna say hello back" wyatt pouted, poking out his bottom lip.
"what do you want, wyatt." everlene sighed.
"a competition." he smirked
"what do you mean?" she knew that smirk it was not a good sign.
"just a friendly game of bowling." his smirk didn't fade, not even falter in the slightest.
"what's the twist?" ali chimed in
"no twist, but there can be." he winked at ali, making her gag.
"nope absolutely not." everlene fiddled with the almost broken keyboard, typing in her and ali's name to begin a knew game.
wyatt thought fast and pushed her aside typing in his name next, then sophia's, jaeden's and finn's and pressing play.
earning a scoff from ev.
"asshole" she softly mumbled.
"what was that, darling? you're gonna need to speak up." he taunted.
"ah that's what i thought, let's begin, shall we? it is you're turn after all." he pushed the fragile girl onto the wood platform.
however little did wyatt know how good ali and ev were at bowling.
looks like we have a competition then.
hey i'm being forced to publish this so i apologize 4 the rly shitty writing.
i also don't think ive clarified everyone's age so let me just do that real quick.
everyone in the it/st cast that i use is 15 unless i say differently
as for the holland family there ages are slightly different and are by no means meant to be realistic, this is my story and i put them that age bc it fits with the story.
sam and harry are 16
tom is 17
paddy is 11
okay thanks guys just thought i'd clarify that.
