(M/C) - Major Class

I was correct. Half of my stuff is just decorations! *sigh*... Well, I better check I have everything before class. I looked around for everything I needed for class. Textbooks for (M/C)? Yep. Lucky glasses? Of course, I don't actually need them, they're just comforting... anyways... Yep, I have them. Shoes? Yep! Don't wanna be like Laurance. Shoot! Time for class! Thank Irene for werewolf speed and track practice all through middle and high school.

I got to class with a few minutes to spare, and that's great because I prefer to sit in the front, where I can hear the teacher, and kids who try to deter me from hearing, I looked at our teacher, her, get in trouble. Okay, (Y/N). Just the first year of college in a new school! Might as well see who all is in my class. I looked around, seeing a semi-familiar face. Wait a sec... Is that...? I saw familiar cyan eyes with jet black hair. The boy absent-mindedly pulled out the chair next to me, the turned to see who was next to him.

"You?!" We exclaimed at the same time.

"Okay, if it is my brother-like friend, Gene, what did I do in seventh grade that made you act like my brother." He just deadpanned at me as if he was saying 'Really? That's the best you've got?' "Yes, now answer."

"Fine, you were pushed down some stairs by bullies, and nearly broke your leg, only I was about to tag the wall by the bottom of the stairs. I saw you stomp up those stairs, and knock out three of the bullies' teeth. Each. They never bothered you again, and I was just there to ensure that." I put my finger on my chin, surprised he remembered the 'three teeth each' detail.

"Okay, you pass! How was high school? Did Sasha miss me?" I kept spewing questions until a blue-haired goof walked in, and beelined for me because Geen was giving me a noogie for all the questions.

"Gene! Stop bullying her!" Gene stiffed and scooted away from me. "I'm so sorry about my brother, he's trying to stop bullying, but-"

"Dude, it's fine! What's your name? Mine's (Y/N). Plus, Gene's, like, my bro! He was just messing with me!"

("Wait!" A sweet voice interrupted. "This isn't the story you told! You told it differently last time!"

"Hush, now. I can't remember every detail and telling the same story over and over is boring. Now let me get back to the story.") "He was just messing with me! And, how do you know Gene?" I scanned his face for anything I might remember. Deep ocean blue eyes, handsome blue hair, cute confused expression... Wait, what...? I snapped out of my thoughts as I recognized the smirk he gave a passing girl's butt; it was the same smirk from the picture. "You must be Dante, right?"

"How do you know my name?" He seemed creeped out.

"Laurance is my dorm mate, and you're the kid that would sit on the curb; waiting and waving when my family went to get supplies from Phoenix Drop." He seemed to recognize me a little.

"So you're the girl that always seemed sad and lonely. I guessed you were lonely because you never seemed like you could make any roots without your parents tearing you away when you started to flourish." He's smarter than he looks.

"Well, nice to meet you, but I believe your gal-friend over there wants to talk to you. She doesn't seem too happy you're talking me."

As he sat down next to the pelirrojo girl, the professor started class. To a new year of unbelievable suffering for being the new girl and to late nights of studying for my major!
