I've been here for a few days, haven't been noticed yet as royalty, and from what I've studied in History, this is Guard Academy; it teaches K-Senior College, and from what I know, it's a more strength and self-defense based thing than a school. I stepped into a courtyard, or, what used to be one; it was filled to the brim with people sparring with weapons, practicing on dummies, and just plain brawling bare-fisted. A red-headed girl tapped me on the shoulder and gasped when she saw my face.

"P-princess..." She curtseyed in front of me and the entire courtyard heard her, turning to face me and bow or curtsey. I took her hand, pulling her up and asking everyone to stand, not liking the sudden attention. "I-I'm sorry for any bad experiences you've had. H-headmaster didn't tell us you and your parents were visiting today." She apologized. I became red and shook my head, wanting to be quick about clearing this up.

"Actually," I started, "I'm here as a student. My parents are finally letting me be a normal 'peasant' girl." I chuckled a little. "Treat me as a normal student. If that means bullying and getting a little scraped up from a challenge I lost, so be it. I'm one of you guys, got it?" They all nodded and a few of younger kids, they looked old enough to be in first or second grade, ran up to me, begging for me to come with them and tell them about what the castle is like.

"Do you get to ride horses?" One of the little girls asked, it was a fair question, horses are rare to have in this area. I nodded and answered all their questions until the same girl piped up. "I'm gonna be a princess one day." She declared; another girl came over and shoved to the ground saying that she was wrong and that she was going to be princess.

"Oh really, now?" I cut in, standing in front of the shoved girl. "Because that's not how a princess acts." She began to try and bully me, asking how I would know, I'm just a lowly peasant too. "Actually, I am the princess. Princess (Y/N), have you heard the name?" She looked frightened and scampered away, shouting at everyone else in the courtyard to get out of her way, they had slightly gone into an organized clump, I ignored them as I pulled the little girl to her feet. "Say, what's your name?" She told me it was Audrey, and we spent a little more time together with the other kids, playing games for kids.

I was running around the courtyard, looking for Audrey in our game of tag. I nearly got her when Laurance stepped in front of me; I thought it was Audrey, so I still yelled "Tag, you're it, no tagbacks!" and ran away, soon realizing I had tagged a boy only a little older than me. I heard his voice ring out across the courtyard,

"Tag, you're it, Garroth. Catch me if you can." He took off, and soon the entire school was playing. I had Audrey on my shoulders, looking for 'it' until two people weaved around us; I put Audrey down, not wanting to drop and hurt her, immediately regretting it because as I was bent over, putting her back on the ground, I stood up and turned around, only for Dante to tag me and run away, but that's not the problem. Where he tagged me is. He had tagged me in the... chest area, where women are particularly sensitive.

"Dante, get back here." I yelled as I chased after him and noticed his ears were red right before I tagged him. I tagged him, but one of the teachers came out and yelled for us to get back to training and for the little kids to come back inside to finish lunch and go to lessons. Ugh, we were just starting to have fun, too. I mentally grumbled as I stepped up to a dummy, trying to learn what weapon I'm most comfortable with. I had tried a lot of different weapons, but today I was trying the longsword, seeing as not a lot of people use it, but it's the most efficient of the weapons I've tried so far, so I'm told.

After I trained for a bit, I swung the sword through the air and nodded. I went up to the campus weaponry store, looking for a (F/C) long sword. I saw one and grabbed it, paying for it and thanking the cashier before exiting.

As I walked out of the store and towards my room, I heard feet pounding the sidewalk behind me, they were rhythmic, not just someone passing by. I turned around and drew my sword, putting the tip to their neck. Time froze as the boy behind me did, hands up in surrender. I dropped my stance a sheathed my sword. "What is it, Dante." I said plainly, motioning for him to follow me as I kept on my way to my room, listening to his hurried speech, most likely from the fear I would slice him in half if he didn't talk fast enough, making me smirk.

By the end of his ramble I gathered that he was wondering if at lunch I would like to sit with him and his friends. I turned ninety degrees, making sure he stopped before I stuck out my hand. "Sure. I'll sit with you. Dante, right?" He nodded feverishly whilst he shook my hand. "(Y/N).
(Y/N) (L/N). I'll see you at lunch okay?" He sat there, staring at my hand as he nodded for ever, not really listening I assumed. Still so cute. I thought as I pecked him on the cheek and jogged away, looking back to see him stare at me, his hand on his cheek, a bright red blush dusted across his face, and a look of dumbstruck awe obvious on his face as he turned and went the other way to the boys' dorms; I smiled to myself and thought once again, You silly boy.. Making me fall for you again...
