I woke up wrapped in Laurence's fluffiest blanket, it still looked pretty dark outside though. The analog clock that had glow in the dark dots told me it was a little past ten. I heard yelling so I put the blanket over my shoulder and shuffled to the doorway that had light under it, where the yelling got louder. I decided to listen for a second.

"Why are you here, Dante?! With (Y/N)!" I could feel the fear from Dante and pushed the door open, the creaking of the hinges making Laurence drop Dante from the collar hold he had on him, trying to not let me see what he was doing. I yawned and smacked my lips, just like a little kid.

As I looked up after rubbing my eyes, I spotted Dante first. I shuffle-walked towards him, staring up at him from the three inches he had on me.

"Um... (Y/N), let's get you back to bed."

"Bedtime story?" I asked, perking up at the possibility. He shrugged and told me if I could stay up long enough. "Bedtime story. Bedtime story." I chanted as I trotted back to bed. I plopped on the couch and kept chanting for a bedtime story. "Can you tell me what happens next with the princess and the knight? After happily ever after?" He smiled at me and sat at the end of the bed, ready to start weaving the tale as I shut my eyes to use my imagination better. I think he started to tell the story, but I fell back asleep.

I woke up again when he left the end of the bed, probably five minutes later. I could hear Laurence and Dante yelling again, but I couldn't tell what they were saying. I just thought about the story and went back to sleep this time.

When I woke back up, it was daytime, but there was no Dante. I got ready for the day and expected to find a calm Laurence, and I didn't find that, but an over the top angry Laurence. I walked up to him and waited for him to notice me. When he did notice me, finally, he was still very upset. He me over to me, grabbed me by the shoulders, then proceeded to shake me, asking over and over variations of the question 'why was Dante here?'. I finally got him to shut up and stop shaking me, then realized I had class.

"I'll tell you later, promise!" I yelled as I ran out the door with my stuff to my class, and sat down at my seat, waiting for Dante so I could thank him.
