"Laurence!" I yelled from my bed.

   "What?!" He responded.

"I'm hungry! And tired. And my room is too hot. Can you fix it?!" I heard a groan and his sick feet hitting the floor as he hit the Tylenol, my soup, and stopped at the thermostat for my room.

"No wonder you feel like crap. It says your room was about 35F last night and colder, and now it's around ninety." I just groaned and made grabby hands for the food he kept moving away from me. I began to whine until he gave me my grape tasting medicine and my food. I smiled as it went down my throat, feeling the appreciation from my stomach be shown with a growl for more.

"Fank ou War-wence." I said through a mouth through of food. He just nodded and yawned, probably heading back to the couch to keep playing Call of Duty II online with Garroth. I drifted off to sleep, feeling happy for the time being.

~Time Skip~

The pounding on the dorm door woke me up, and I was about to yell at Laurence to open it, but there was a sticky note on my phone that said,

   (Y/N),
I have a class until about 6:45 tonight, so you're gonna have to do things yourself. Love ya like a sis!
     - Laurence

I rolled over and out of bed, the banging getting louder. I opened it up and almost got smacked in the face by the blue-haired bird-brain knocking on the door. "Laur- o-oh, h-hey, (Y/N), i-is Laurence h-home?" I shook my head and got a little dizzy. Apparently it showed. "W-woah there, are you feeling o-okay? You're burning up."

When I shook my head again, bad idea, and began falling from how dizzy I was. "Okay, upsie daisy, there we go." I blushed at the contact of him wrapping his arms around me. "When will Laurence get back?" I showed him with my fingers, I was too tired to talk. "That's three hours from now." He stopped to think. "I'm taking care of you. You know you can't cook your own food, let alone make sure you stay awake long enough to do it."

While he kept rambling on and I moved to the side, letting him in. He picked me up and set me on the couch, where Laurence's fluffiest blanket was. I touched the fabric and smiled, my brain drugged with Tylenol, and I began to act like a kid. "Dante..! Food..!" I whined. He told me to wait two minutes and when I got to 120 seconds, he came to me with a steaming hot bowl of soup. I could feel my mouth watering, because the only other thing I'd eaten today was chicken noodle soup, and that was forever ago.

As I took a cautionary half spoonful, I discovered it was completely cooked, but Dante has let it cool off. "Fank ou!" I said as I dug in, I could've sworn I heard him say something, but it could've been my drugged brain.

After I finished my soup and Dante helped me to bed, he tucked me in and made up a story to tell me for a bedtime story.

"Once upon a time, there was a kingdom, and in that kingdom was a family that ruled it. They were very happy, but the princess wanted to explore, not be stuck in a castle all of her life. So her parents recognized this wish, and granted it. She would be allowed to go to a very famous peasant school, where she met a knight-in-training. The princess and the knight spent a lot of time together, and soon the knight realized he loved the princess. Their time together at the school was up soon, so he pledged his loyalty to her, and became her personal guard. They spent the rest of their days happy with each other, and lived happily ever after." I yawned and smiled, my kid brain not thinking before speaking.

"Dante, can you be my knight?" I said, so sleepily I slurred my words a little. He smiled, gave me a hug and a kiss on the forehead, before telling me,

"Ask me again in the morning, if you remember to do it. Then I'll answer when you aren't, so, sleepy." He bopped my nose and giggles bopping him back. "Good night, (Y/N)."

"Nighty night, Knight Dante." I yawned and fell asleep, the story appearing to me in my dreams, letting me live as a princess and live out my happily ever after with Dante.
