So before you're going to comment that the song lyrics isn't right: I used the book lyrics, so yes it's a bit different from the movie.

And yes, Elene is the girl in the picture!

Enjoy!

We're in the shire walking past all the cute little houses. It's dark and we're searching for a blue marking on a door. "There it is!" Says Fili, he starts running towards the house. Kili catches up to him and knocks on the door. A hobbit opens the door, "Fili." Says Fili, "Kili." Says Kili. "And Elene." "At your service." We say at the same time, and make a bow.

"At yours and your family's!" Replied the hobbit. "Dwalin and Balin here already, I see," Says Kili, "Let us join the throng!" Fili and I laugh while we walk to the supply-room finding Dwalin and Balin there, already munching on some food. We talked to them while the doorbell kept ringing and more dwarfs kept coming. I saw Bilbo growing angrier and I felt sorry for the little hobbit but his ale tasted well so I didn't mind.

We had dinner of course with a lot of noise and laughter. We cleaned up with a song since that's one of the things we dwarves are actually good at. Fili threw the plates to Kili and he threw them to Nori.

"Chip the glasses and crack the plates!

Blunt the knives and bend the forks!

That's what Bilbo Baggins hates---

Smash the bottles and burn the corks!

Cut the cloth and tread on the fat!

Pour the milk on the pantry floor!

Leave the bones on the bedroom mat!

Splash the wine on every door!

Dump the crocks in a boiling bowl;

Pound them up with a thumbing pole;

And when you've finished, if any are whole,

Send them down the hall to roll!

That's what Bilbo Baggins hates!

So, carefully! carefully with the plates!

Bilbo looked suprised when all the plates and bowls were cleaned up and stood on the table. We all laughed, Kili grabbed my hand and gave me a kiss on my cheek making me turn a shade of crimson red.

And then we hear a loud knock on the door. "He's here." Says Gandalf.

My dad is here, oh no. A nervous feeling taking over with me. Kili squeezes my hand. Gandalf opens the door. "Gandalf I thought you said this place was easy to find I-" He sees me, his eyes widening.

"WHAT IS SHE DOING HERE!" He yells, "I'm coming with you. To see Erebor And the lonely mountain." I say, crossing my arms, showing him I'm determined. "Elene! You can't come with us! It's too dangerous!" "Uncle she's strong and-" "Shut up Kili, you only want her along because she's your girlfriend."

"Uncle." Says Fili, "You told us about Erebor, sang songs about it. She deserves to see it as much as I do even though she's not really our kin." I make a mental note to thank Fili after my dad calmed down.

"Okay, she can come. But when it becomes too dangerous she returns home." "Deal." I say, even though I will not go home before I have to see the mountain, whatever it takes.

After a while we all sat down in a comfortable room, the dark filled the room, and the fire died down. The shadows were lost, but suddenly I began to sing and I don't know why. But after a while the rest of the company joined in and chills ran down my spine.

"Far over the misty mountains cold

To dungeons deep and caverns old

We must away ere break of day

To seek the pale enchanted gold.

The dwarves of yore made mighty spells,

While hammers fell like ringing bells

In places deep, where dark things sleep

In hollow halls beneath the fells.

For acient king and elvish lord

There many a gleaming golden hoard

They shaped and wrought, and light they caught

To hide in gems on hilt of sword

On silver necklaces they strung

The flowering stars, on crowns they hung

The dragon-fire, in twisted wire

They meshed the light of moon and sun

Far over the misty mountains cold

To dungeons deep and caverns old

We must away, ere break of day,

To claim our long-forgotten gold

Goblets they carved there for themselves

And harps of gold; where no man delves

There lay they long, and many a song

Was sung unheard by men or elves.

The pines were roaring on the height

The winds were moaning in the night.

The fire was red, it flaming spread;

The trees like torches blazed with light.

The bells were ringing in the dale

And men looked up with faces pale;

The dragon's ire more fierce than fire

Laid low their towers and houses frail.

The mountain smoked beneath the moon;

The dwarves, they heard the tramp of doom.

They fled their hall to dying fall

Beneath his feet, beneath the moon.

Far over the misty mountains grim

To dungeons deep and caverns dim

We must away, ere break of day,

To win our harps and gold from him!

After the song, we went to bed. Kili put his arm around me. And I fell asleep feeling safe.
