"A-ahahah, come to think of it, the weather recently is so hot, I wonder why~~"

Forcefully pulling my hand out of his grasp I cleared my throat, smoothly shifting my frame a good distance away from his, so close to the edge of the chair I almost fell off.

Out of the corner of my eye I watched him, internally gulping in fear of his persistence to the matter. He narrowed his eyes, his smirk remaining, though he thankfully relented, moving his strained posture back to his original position.

Thank god.

My pupils watched, my guard still on alert, not wanting him to pull that sort of stunt, as he grabbed his own cup of coffee off the glass table, sipping it elegantly with the most peaceful expression I had ever seen, as if he hadn't a care in the world.

"Hey, Izaya-Kun?"

"Hmm, what is it (Y/n)-Chan?"

"What happened between you and Kida-Kun in the past?"

"Ahaha, not giving up the matter I see? I've known him from a while back, and I've helped him a little, but he doesn't seem so comfortable around me does he?"

"Hmm..."

My posture had started to relax a little, seeing he has now a good distance away from me, and I leant my head back into the comfort of the sofa, looking at nowhere in particular as I took in Izaya-Kun's reply.

I thought he'd be a little more thrown off than that... though I Guess it is him after all, I haven't been ahead of him once so far.

But if, he's helped Kida-Kun, why does Kida-Kun dislike him so much? It doesn't just seem like simple discomfort either...

My gaze shifted back to the man beside me, though the rest of my body remained in the same place. I was really tired after all that waiting and walking today.

"Then what about you Izaya-Kun? Do you like him?"

"Of course, I love all humans. They're surprising and can do the most unexpected things, yet either way it's always entertaining. Kida-Kun is definitely no exception."

"Hmmm~"
