Your POV:

"IZAYAAA!!"

My orbs that had been distractedly rotating between the sight of my phone and the television snapped to attention when I heard that familiar tell, and I rose up from my slumped position, finally deciding on a focus. I could feel my lips rise up as I spotted two figures entering the frame of the screen before me. The strange thing was--the screen was blurry. I couldn't make out who they were exactly, but it was undeniable I was happy and excited for some reason, though I didn't know why.

Hmm, Izaya? Isn't that...

Huh, that's strange. I know who that is, but right know I can't seem to...

I could feel the lower part of my self leave the couch, and I knew my feet was inching closer and closer to the screen. But, I wasn't the one controlling my own movements.

Then, this must be another memory right?

It was a strange sensation--I was in my own body without a doubt, yet I wasn't the one moving it, neither could I understand my own course of actions, as if I was in some kind of simulation.

How strange.

As I neared the bright screen, the blurred quality started to fade, and I was could now make out who the two unknown persons from before were. My eyes blinked, and my hands reached up from my sides, towards the now plainly clear view before me.

"Dr Kishitani!! Dr Kishitani!!"

"Huh?"

I blinked once more, and this time, as my eyes parted, they were no longer looking at Izaya-kun and Shizu-chan through the television screen anymore.

"Hmm...yep! Your fever's gone now."

I rocked my knees aimlessly as I watched Shinra-san let out a satisfied hum, finished with his task of examining the little girl. It was obvious she was better than yesterday, her small cheeks no longer unnaturally flushed and her expressions looking more lively than ever.

"Do you have any pain anywhere? A sore throat, or a stomachache, are you all right?"

I was kind of in awe, dazed at the scene before me. I knew Shinra-san was a doctor from the start, and he was even the one that treated me, but his overly goofy and easygoing nature was a big contrast to his current self.

Kind of like...oh, he's really a doctor afterall.

The girl nodded her head obediently with a solemn look on her face, her back straight and diligent even though she had just woken up.

What a good girl, that's definitely not how I acted when I woke up.

"Here you go."

"Wow, that looks delicious!"

My mouth instinctively salivated at the aroma of the hot chocolate that filled the room when Sonohara-san walked in, the source being the colorful cup in her hands that she carefully handed to the still silent girl. Sonohara-san would make an amazing wife.

Crap, I'm imagining her in an apron. Was it because of what Shinra-san said before?

My head rocked from side to side, trying to differ my thoughts to something else. Didn't Shinra-san imagine himself in an apron too before? Do you want to go down that road as well (y/n)?
