You Being Against Them For An Award

A/N: Request for @maddieluvsyaa. Thanks for the request! This is my first time writing these kind of preferences so be patient, as they may be kind of short. But, I hope to enjoy them and if you like it, I'm open for requests! As always, thanks for reading and the gifs are not mine!

Namjoon:

Namjoon would be supportive. He would genuinely want you to win and may even say that if your relationship was public. If you won, he would stand and clap and be sure to congratulate you privately as well. If he won, he would be happy, but be would be sure to recognize your merit (even if it's just privately). 

Seokjin:

Much like Namjoon, Jin would be supportive and he wouldn't really care if you or he won. Both were a win in his book. If you won, he would be sure to congratulate you and probably take you to dinner or cook for you. If he won, he might tease you a little, make jokes about his handsome face. But, he would all be in good fun and in a loving way. 

Yoongi:

At first, it may seem like Yoongi doesn't really care that you were up against him for an award. You'd told him you were sure he was going to win anyway, and he simply shrugged. But, he was secretly really proud of you and didn't really care if he lost to you or not. If you won, he would be the first to stand up and clap, and turn into proud dad Yoongi. If he won, he would make sure to tell you he was still really proud of you and that you deserved the award also. 

Hoseok:

Hobi would definitely tease you. He would find it hilarious the two of you were up against each other, and would crack jokes about it. Of course, when it came to the actual night, he would be professional and a gentleman. If you won, much like Yoongi he would turn into a proud dad. You'd probably have to prevent him from coming on stage to hug you. If he won, he would probably find some roundabout way to thank you and make sure to cuddle you later, even if you weren't upset about it.

Jimin:

Jimin would be slightly embarrassed that the two of you were pitted up against one another, but would definitely take the opportunity to try and tease you. However, when it came down to it, Jimin didn't care who won and would be happy either way. If you won, he would be a little embarrassed, knowing that you would never let him live it down. If he won, he would say that you deserved it more.

Taehyung:

Tae would be a little awkward at first, because he would be scared of hurting your feelings if he won. However, he would be overall supportive and cheer for you when they announced your name as one of the nominees. If you won, he would probably be like Hobi and embarrass himself in some way trying to congratulate you. If he won, he would be careful of your feelings, even if it was obvious you weren't hurt. He would end up giving you a big hug and kiss and telling you how proud he was of you regardless of the outcome.

Jungkook:

Jungkook would take the opportunity for some friendly ;) competition with you. He might even make a bet with you that depended on who won. Despite his cheeky exterior, he would actually really want you to win. Jungkook wants nothing more than to see you happy and seeing all of your hard work validated. If you won, he would flash his priceless bunny smile and wrap you in his arms as soon as he saw you, even if he had to forfeit some of his pride. If he won, he would be worried that you were upset and wouldn't make you go through with the bet.
