A/N: Merry Christmas (if you celebrate it)! I hope you all have a wonderful day and eat lots of yummy food. This is the smallest gift I can offer, but I hope it's enough. I promise big things are coming in 2019! :)

-spent weeks trying to find the perfect gif -definitely overthought it -is honestly scared that you'll hate it -just wants to make you happy -money isn't a big deal to him, so the gift could really be of any price range -but no matter what it shows how thoughtful he is -the gift probably has some connection to your interests and/or something you enjoy doing together -while he might get something you need, I think he's more likely to get you something you didn't realize you needed -only gives large gifts on holidays/ your birthday, but is constantly showering you with cheap gifts (such as flowers dropped off at your work, clothing he thinks would look nice on you, etc.) -totally likely to get you an experience type gift -probably didn't wrap it, cause let's be honest, Namjoon doesn't seem like he'd be that good at wrapping presents lol -has to watch you open the gift cause you reaction makes him so anxious -smiles and blushes the whole time -a cute boy who doubts himself too much

-goes for the staples (jewelry, expensive clothing/ hygiene and cosmetic products you wouldn't buy yourself, etc) -but, is also good at taking hints -impulsive, but thoughtful -may give you one serious gift and one gag gift -will definitely get you a card purely so he can write a dad joke on it -gag gift may in fact just be one big dad joke -has no qualms dropping large sums of money on you -in fact, he prefers to, he's the type of guy who needs to spend a lot of money on your gift to feel like it was good enough for you -that doesn't mean he doesn't appreciate the smaller things and get you experience gifts -he just tends to get you those sorts of things anyway -Christmas is special and therefore he has to get you something special -isn't horrible at wrapping, but I wouldn't be surprised to see him enlist someone to help him to make sure everything looked nice and crisp -overall your typical dad
