A collection of BTS imagines and preferences all written by me!
I don't take requests (at least at the moment), but you can certainly leave ideas or scenarios you'd like to see as a comment and I might use it!

A/N: Hello everyone! This will be something a little different. I've been reading imagines and fan fics on Instagram for a while now and tried doing a social media AU there last year. But, I've decided to try my hand at a fic. I'll be posting the chapters here's, the week AFTER they go up on Instagram. I should be posting Part Two sometime tomorrow on my Instagram account @farfromsuga_. Follow me to see updates

You walked into your father's office. It was full of medals and honors given to him throughout his twenty years of service. Growing up, you'd always look at the shiny metal through their glass cases or frames, not thinking about the deeds that earned them.
"Y/N," your father said once the door was closed. His hair was disheveled and even in his uniform, which normally made him look dignified and important, but now it only accentuated the slump of his back as he lowered himself into his office chair.
"Yes?" you asked, sitting down across from him. You didn't have much sympathy for your father, but rather hated seeing him in such a state.
You'd never been involved with his work as one of the highest ranking military officers in the country, but now, you were. Everyone was.
"How are you doing? No one in your classes is being hostile?"
You shook your head. Although, that gesture wasn't entirely truthful. You'd caught odd glances and stares, the occasional scoff, and whispers accompanied with harsh looks.
"As you know, this recent scandal has put me, and, because of that, you, in danger." He paused and looked up to meet your eyes, as if waiting for you to protest.
"I'm not too worried about myself. The secret service and federal agents have always worked to keep me safe during appearances and they now have extended that to permanent protection until further notice." His eyes wandered over to the door where the shadows of the secret service agent's shoes could be seen through the crack.
"But, you," he said. "You are my only child. You were only a child when all of this happened, but I've already heard that some blame you." He took a shaky breath. "I've decided to hire you a bodyguard."
Your eyes widened. "What?"
"I've talked to the service and we believe that you are less of a target than myself or your mother and having a middle aged man follow you around would not be ideal. It would draw more attention to you than necessary."
Your throat went dry as you waited to hear what your father was about to say.
"We've decided to hire the head of the class at the Secret Service Academy. He only graduated a month ago, but he's your age and that won't draw as much attention."
