A/N: Request for @Marili_Cruz! Thanks for the request and I hope you enjoy it! I hope I didn't veer too far away from the song! If anyone else wants to request an imagine (or preference) go to my Requests chapter and read the rules and you can either comment your request there or you can message me. This one may be slightly triggering. Nothing is too explicit, but I thought I'd warn you just in case. You can always message me before you read if you're concerned. Enjoy! :)

"I think I'm ready," you said, as you lay beside Jin on the bed. A laptop was propped up on both of your laps and you shared a bag of popcorn.

Jin's eyes widened as he pulled his eyes away from the Netflix show on the screen. The laptop nearly fell off the bed as he shuffled awkwardly, making you smile.

"Are you sure?" he asked. "I don't want to pressure you into anything. I told you I would wait as long as you need to."

"I know, Jinnie," you said. "I think I'm ready. I trust you. You do want to, right?"

"Of course, of course," Jin said, his hand coming to your arm and rubbing softly, causing a shiver to run down your spine. His touch had once terrified you when you couldn't tell his hand apart from your ex's. It had taken time for you to become comfortable with just the most innocent of touches.

Jin had been so patient through it all. Never going farther than you were comfortable. You were thankful for him and you were finally ready to prove that to him.

The night you met Jin it snowed. You sat on the park bench with no where else to go. You thought about going to a convenience store where it would at least be warm, but you were afraid they would call the cops or someone you didn't want to deal with. No one wanted a crying girl hanging around.

The cold had bothered you at first, but no your hands and feet were going numb. You knew you should worry, but nothing seemed important in that moment.

"Are you okay?" you heard someone ask. You looked up and saw Jin, his dark eyes worried and his dark hair laying perfectly over his forehead.

You didn't respond, trying to hide your face from the man, hoping he would eventually go away. But he didn't, he sat beside you. His warmth radiating outward and your body tensed as it received it, like a plant reaching up to greet the sun's rays.

"You don't have to tell me anything," you said. "Let's just somewhere warm."

You have no idea why you trusted him then. You had no reason to, he was just some guy off the street in a long coat and a pretty face. He led you to a convenience store and bought you cup noodles.

"Do you have somewhere to go tonight?"

You shook your head."

"I want to do this right," Jin said, hovering over you. The laptop long forgotten and placed on the desk nearby. "It'll be the first time since..."

You nodded, even thought Jin was well aware. He leaned down and kissed your lips softly, like how you were used to. One of his hands rested on your arm and the other was tangled in your hair. His hands which had once felt like ice cubes dropped down your shirt in the middle of summer, now felt safe and warm against your skin as they dived beneath your shirt.

It took you a long time to trust him. You flinched as he covered you with the blanket that first night. He left the room right after seemingly unaffected. He was careful from then on, never directly touching you, and asking if he needed to.

A few months after you first met, you grabbed his hand and his eyes widened, but his fingers quickly wrapped around yours.

"I want to love you," he said, holding your hand, some months later. "I know it will be hard, but I won't betray your trust and I will wait as long as it takes."

It took you some time, but you finally gave him a chance. The first time his lips brushed yours, you pulled away.

"Everything okay?"

You nodded. "Yeah, I just don't think I'm ready yet."

"That's okay," he said, grabbing hold of your hand.

"You can change your mind. It's okay," he said.

"Jin," you said, giggling. "Really, I've thought about this a lot. I'm ready."

"All right," he said. "I just never want to make you feel the way he did."

"You won't," you said. "I trust you."

Jin leaned down and kissed you again, this time a little sloppy, his emotion getting the best of him. You couldn't help but smile into the kiss as you tangled your hands in his hair and tugged lightly.

A/N: Sorry it's a bit short, Marili, but I felt that was the best place to end it. If you want me to add anything just let me know and I hope you enjoyed! <3
