Chapter nineteen

Danielle, Jess, and Erin got back on track planning baby shower as soon as they all felt better. It was only 4 days and according to them, they have everything in order.

"We just need to go to the store today to buy all the decorations Jaime and Vic are going for food tomorrow. Tony's in charge of music and he said that was done and ready. You and Mike will enjoy 2 nights and a day at The Holiday Inn so we can prepare everything.", Danielle said. We were at the kitchen table going through the entire list they had.

"I remembered to call your family and ours and Vic and Mike's mom and dad,", Jess said.

"And I have all the games planned. I got ideas from your mom and the Internet.", Erin said. I looked up from the list and looked at them. I chuckled.

"Wow. You guys do have this in order.", I said.

"We told you.", Jessica said as she took my the list from my hand.

"Now, let's go to the store . We need the decorations.", Erin said. They all stood and got their bags.

"Can I come?", I asked.

"I don't know. Should we let her come?", Danielle said.

"Well, she can help pick things out. I mean it is her baby shower.", Erin said. I gave them a cheesy smile.

"Ok, let's go. But you drive." Jessica said. I chuckled and we left to Hobby Lobby.

"Evelin, go get us a cart.", Jess said. I quickly grabbed a cart and we scooted over to the baby section. Jessica and Erin filled the cart up with streamers, balloons, table covers, baby boy stands, ribbons, and baby boy confetti. Danielle got bottles, bibs, blindfolds, and baby spoons.

"This is a lot.", I said.

"Its a big party.", Erin said. We soon finished and headed back home.

"Evelin, bring the stuff in and put it some where Alex and Jack won't find it.", Danielle said. I did that and soon my feet began to hurt. The guys came in from the basement. Mike came behind me.

"You look tired.", he said as he kissed my cheek. I took a deep breath.

"I am. I've been helping the girls get the stuff for the baby shower and they had me drive them and help them with the bags. My feet are all swollen. It hurts.", said. He chuckled.

"Babe. Your doing to much again. Sit down and rest. I'll massage your feet, yes?", he said. I smiled and nodded. He walked to the living room and I finally got to sit down after being up for what seemed hours. I took a deep breath sat my feet up on the couch.

"Evelin, we need you!", Jess said as they walked in. I groaned.

"You guys. I'm tired, my back aches and my feet are even more swollen. I still have to make dinner and I just can't...", I said as starting to cry.

"Evelin, why didn't you just say anything?", Danielle said as she sat next to.

"Because, you guys need help.", I said.

"Evelin. We can do this ourselves. Its your baby shower but we want to do it for you. Its like a thank you.", Jess said. I smiled.

"Now. Just sit here and relax. I'll get the boys to do dinner.", Erin said.

"No. No I'll do dinner. I know how much you love those Mexican soap things.", Danielle said. I laughed.

"Sopes. Yes. I haven't had those in forever.", I said. She smiled.

"Well today is your lucky day.", she said. I smiled and they all got up and went to fix things up. Mike came back with baby lotion and a baby and parenting magazines. I smiled.
